Take my word, book shoot it yourself for your wedding... You will not be disappointed!
We were actually not going to have a video of our wedding day, but after a lot of talking to others we changed our mind a week before our wedding day, and thank goodness we did!!! I found shoot it yourself through this very website and thankfully they still had cameras left for our day. The dvd footage is fantastic, even better than we had hoped for, and the service provide by the team far exceeded my expectations. I had worries that the footage would be poor, someone may spill a drink over the camera, it wouldn't be as "professional" a finish. The team put me at ease from the first phone call. The process was so easy and we've ended up with an asolutely magical memory of our very special day. I would say to any couple thinking of booking this service, if you wan to end up with a completely original, quirky, really special and meaningful memory of you day, then this is 100% the way to go!

SIY - Absolutely Marvelous!!!!!
I would definitely recommend booking Shoot it yourself for your wedding video! It is fun, quirky and shows all of the best bits of your day!You'll laugh and cry watching it and as they say, it wont just be your mum that wants to see it!

YOU WILL NOT REGRET USING SIY! AMAZING! AWESOME! INCREDIBLE! WONDERFUL!
My hubby and I had decided against a wedding vid and then a few weeks before the wedding (after everyone's advice and comments about not remembering anything on the day) I decided we had to have one. I luckily stumbled across an ad in a wedding mag, got on the phone to the lovely SIY girls and after watching a few videos, signed up. I cannot stress this enough... out of everything and everyone (suppliers) for our wedding SIY outshone them all! They are genuinely excited for you & make you feel super special the whole way through the process. The concept is amazing; a friend shooting me get ready instead of a stranger, my friends & relatives opening up to the camera as someone they knew was behind it (not to mention they know who to shoot; no long interviews with a friends new girlfriend that you have never met; your mates know who should be filmed); and finally the edit... the final product lifted me from my post wedding blues and made me eternally happy for making the last minute decision to SHOOT IT YOURSELF! http://www.vimeo.com/27014024 If you don't want a stiff, long winded account of the best day of your life, but a true reflection of what actually happened, then this really is the best choice. The music along with the highlights they choose summed everything up in 16mins. They really captured the atmosphere of our day and I am certain they would do the same for you. AMAZING wedding video!
After struggling to find a videographer that produced the type of video we wanted and didn’t cost the earth, we had made the decision to have a friend film our wedding for us. When I found Shoot It Yourself a month before our big day I was SO pleased, it gave us the best of both worlds we could have the people closest to us filming (with good cameras!) and then have it edited to the finish of a professional wedding DVD. A family member and my bridesmaids filmed for us all day which meant we felt completely at ease, the guests knew them so were more willing to chat; they knew the shots we wanted and came up with great ideas like burger cam and MTV Cribs! The best thing was we could do what we wanted without being tied to someone else’s schedule and could have lots of fun! Andrea and the team at Shoot It Yourself were brilliant, they gave us ideas on good shots for the day and were always there to answer my (many) questions beforehand! Even though the Shoot It Yourself team weren’t at the wedding, their editing captured the atmosphere of the day perfectly. Our friends and family have loved watching them and because it’s online those who couldn’t make the day and who live abroad have been able to watch them easily. We absolutely LOVE our wedding DVD, it’s a great way to remember the day, it’s personal, unique, fun and so us! We’ve got a wedding DVD we’ll treasure forever and never get bored of watching (a year on from our wedding and I’m still watching it all the time!) Definitely would recommend them :)

An absolute must for every wedding!
When we started planning our wedding we were undecided on whether or not to have a videographer, we knew we didn’t want the traditional slow motion video but wanted our wedding day captured. I stumbled across Shoot it Yourself (SIY) about a year and a half ago on a forum and thank goodness I did. At that point, SIY only had a few wedding videos on their blog but we knew this was exactly the kind of thing we wanted, you only need to look at their website now to see how much of a success they are and how much their bride and grooms love them. From the start Andrea put me at ease and answered all my questions without any problems and I’m now actually quite sad that the involvement I have with them has come to an end. We then went ahead and booked them for our wedding a year and a half later. From then on, I followed Andrea and the SIY team and loved watching all the videos they created. They really do have an amazing talent, I've watched our video about 20 times and I've only had it a week. It’s filled with all the emotions from throughout the day, laughter, tears, joy, nerves and pure happiness! Once the wedding day and honeymoon was over I can’t express enough how great it was to come home and see our dvd. I cannot thank Andrea and the SIY team enough for the wedding video they created for us. If you want a wedding dvd that truly reflects the magic of your wedding day then SIY is for you! We laughed, cried and just thoroughly enjoyed watching it and so have ALL my friends. Thank you guys at SIY, you made our wedding day! xx
