Wanted to say thank you as the Wedding was perfect. The food was excellent. Ashley was there for every worry I had - thank you for all the extra attention to detail (especially the menus translated into German). You made sure we had a beautiful Wedding Day. Steve was so friendly and really made us feel like we had nothing to worry about. We also had a lot of people staying at the hotel and the Reception Team were friendly and helpful with offering advise on where to go in York.

We would like to thank you all for your kind efforts on our wedding day (23/07). Apologies that it's taken us so long to get round to saying it. Our guests were very complimentary about the service and food and we absolutley agree. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and it was easy to relax as we had total confidence in the team. Everything went smoothly and the room decorations/changeovers were really fab. We had an amazing time. We would definitely recommend the Marriott to others - in fact my cousin is getting married and is considering using a Marriott after attending ours. Your service was so personal and your attention detail was excellent (even helping out with button holes!). It was one of the best days of our lives and we can't thank you enough. We'll definitely be back for a meal sometime in the future to reminisce over our big day.

We have just retuned from our honeymoon having had a fab time. We just want to say a big thank you to you and your team for making our wedding reception so fantastic!!We enjoyed every minute of it. The food was great as were all the staff.A big thank you for our room upgrade and the treats awaiting us! Having our brekkie on that balcony in the morning was just the finishing touch to a wonderful day.

I hope you are well. We have just got back from our honeymoon and are finally getting back to British time.Dan and I just wanted to email to let Steve and you know how utterly grateful we are for all that you both did on the run up and on the day of the wedding. It was a fantastic day which was in part due to you both. You were both fantastic and really helped things run smoothly. So many people commented on how great you both were, particularly my mum who was very impressed.You made the run up to the wedding run so smoothly, I was very impressed with how quick you always replied to my emails and you were always on hand to answer any questions I had, that really helped me at a stressful time.On the day you were both full of smiles and knew just what to do. The room was set up beautifully and I cant think of anything that wasnt perfect.A huge thank you again from both Dan and me and our families, I would definatly recommend you and the marriot to anyone thinking of having a wedding there. Just wish I could do it again
