Fantastic venue, food and service
We first found Woodside on Hitched, and went for a look round. From out first visit, the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. As the big day approached, nothing was too much trouble. Kate and the team were brilliant. The food is fantastic, especially the vegetarian selection - our veggies were pleasantly surprised to have something tasty and not pasta, quiche or cheese based! We 'toured' the tables between courses, and all the plates were empty with the receipients raving about the grub. The kids were made to feel really special drinks brought out on a silver tray for them, special ice-creams etc, and these little touches made the day extra special for everyone. The gardens helped make lovely photographs, the guests rooms are modern and comfortable and the main dining and reception rooms have just had a very stylish refit and decorate. All day everything went totally smoothly, from hubby's gym and swim in the morning to all the pressies and cards being delivered to our room in the evening. We were really impressed by everyone. All in all - I couldn't have asked for more from the venue, and they are also very reasonable price-wise in comparison with other places we looked at in the area. A definite must consider if you're getting married in Warwickshire!

Many, many thanks for an amazing day on September 16th. Our wedding was fantastic. The food was superb, the staff friendly and approachable and ever present. The venue looked amazing too. It was a wonderful day and surpassed our expectations in every way.

Tasmin, we would like to thank you personally for all your efforts in ensuring a perfect wedding day for us on 27th August 2006. We both found you extremely thorough, understanding, flexible and patient during the preparations and as a result the day itself passed beautifully and without any hitches. In addition we would like to thank Mark and Andrew in particular for their part in ensuring the day went to plan and for their good humour and profesionalism. After the speeches our guests gave the Woodside staff a warm round of applause in recognition of all their efforts. We are so very glad we chose Woodside as the perfect venue for our wedding and many of our guests commented favourably on the facilties, food and staff. Many thanks again for everyone''s efforts, they really were appreciated.

I wanted to write to yo as soon as possible to say a big THANK YOU for making our weddin day so special. Everything was fantastic from the planning and preparation, the great food to our stay overnight! Friday night was ecellant too, it''s lovely to have all my friend together in one place for a change! Tasmin, I just wanted to say thank - you for all the hard work you and Andrew put into our wedding. We had an absolute fabulous time and you both ensured the day went without a hitch. Everyone commented on how wonderful the food as well as the venue was - it couldn''t have been more perfect. The BBQ especially went down a storm.

Possibly the best reception venue in Warwickshire
Having visited over 20 venues we chose the Woodside for their attention to detail and the fact they really do care that your wedding runs to perfection. The high levels of professionalism yet accommodating and personlised attitude of their wedding co-ordinator promotes this venue well above its rivals. There is wonderful accommodation and facilities if you have guests travelling from afar like we did. Even better than all this - it doesn''t charge the earth and proves excellent value for money.

"One of the most special weekends of my life."
I have just returned from one of the most special weekends of my life, in which Woodside played an intrumental part. It was my sister's wedding, with the reception held at Woodside. Everyone I spoke to agreed that it is an absoluitely delightful venue. A number of family and friends stayed 2 nights including dinner on Friday. I really wanted to thank the General Manager and all her staff for their unobtrusive, friendly, cheerful professionalism, that helped make the weekend such a hugely enjoyable one.

We would definitely recommend Woodside
A lot of venues we visited before Woodside seemed a little world-weary with weddings, and a few were not interested in just an evening reception. On the flipside Woodside has been the opposite - your friendly and helpful approach made it really easy to organise and surprisingly enjoyable!

Made our day amazing
This review is long overdue. We had our wedding reception at Woodside in August 2004. We weren't the easiest of customers being vegetarian and wanting a veggie reception. Most of our family were horrified at the though but the chef and the team made it so easy. it was fantastic food enjoyed by everyone and the flexibility that the team showed to enable us to make the wedding work for us was amazing. We wanted relaxed informal and friendly but good. That's exactly what happened I'd recommend this venue the food and the team to anyone. Fab.

Excellent choice of venue, polite & caring staff
We would like to thank you very much indeed for the professional way in which you and your staff organised the reception and evening event for Chris & Lucy. The venue was an excellent choice, the service was of very high standard, being both friendly and helpful. The food served was also to be very highly commended. We couldn't find a fault in anything.
