About

A Victorian venue fit for royalty! Nestled away in the Denbighshire countryside, Wigfair Hall has changed very little throughout its long and illustrious history. Grade II listed, and maintaining much of its Victorian regality and elegance, it would make a truly exceptional venue for your wedding day.

Set in the heart of the North Wales valleys, Wigfair Hall boasts stunning views across the Elwy Valley and Clwydian Range. Not only offering a secluded elegance to your day’s proceedings, Wigfair’s breath-taking backdrops are ideal for truly unforgettable wedding photos.

Inside, Wigfair Hall is a vision of classic, country glamour. Intricately designed drawing rooms are juxtaposed with stately wood-panelled halls, giving your day an even greater sense of occasion! The house itself is licensed to host your civil ceremony in a choice of four separate rooms. Whether you are planning an intimate eloped ceremony, or a larger affair surrounded by all your loved ones, Wigfair has the perfect space for your needs!

The drawing room, where your ceremony may take place, overlooks the perfectly manicured croquet lawns at Wigfair Hall. Ideally suited for a drinks reception to toast the beginning of your next chapter, it also boasts enough room for a generous marquee!

Civil ceremony

What a fabulous afternoon we had,and what a find,we wanted a small ceremony with a few friends and family about 20 in total, and more than a registry office,Got married at 2.00 standing round the beautiful fireplace and stairs, had our photos taken on the staircase and in the spectacular gardens and terraces, guests being served champagne and canapés,with beautiful music in the backgrounds.About 4.00 we had afternoon tea served in the dining room with wedding cake, what a relaxed no stress wedding,we left around 6.00,and off to Maldives on honeymoon next day.we could not fault the hospitality and friendliness of the day from the owners, what a fabulous time had by all.Thankyou very much for making our day so special.jon and HelenXX

Stunning property

Wigfair Hall near the village of Cefn where I used to live is a stunning property - when you see the sunset on the beautiful red bricks in the evening the whole Hall has a breathtaking rosy glow.
My Son Richard and his then fiancee Lyndsey were married in St. Mary's Cefn ten years ago this June - a small drinks reception for the Grooms family was held before the ceremony which also enabled some of the guests who had travelled some distance to catch their breath and freshen up.
The whole thing was a last minute decision and I would say far better for being so. The guests were enchanted to enjoy Champagne on the terrace on a beautifully sunny June morning, One of our guests even started playing the Grand Piano and the who thing was enchanting.

When I left the house on the way to the Church - the Groom's car was parked up on the fabulous tree lined driveway - the Best Man had lost the ring! I am pleased to say it was eventually found under a mat in the car. However, - it just added a extra touch to everything and of course was included in the Best Man's Speech!
Everything went smoothly and I will never forget walking down the Hall's beautiful staircase having changed into my Mother of the Groom outfit.
Annette and Stuart would be proud of you Andrew and Rylla and I know this Venture of yours will be a resounding success."
