Hi Charlotte, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for last week, yourself, jannick and all the staff at the white swan truly made our special day perfect in every way. I have never met a bunch of such amazing people, your kindness, helpfulness and attitude to strife to make our day a one to remember is truly commendable. The most fantastic day of our lives!!
Dear Paul, We just want to thank you and your team for making our wedding day the most fantastic day of our lives! We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at the White Swan, not only is the venue absolutely stunning but the staff have been so helpful and friendly. All of our guests commented on how impressed they were with the venue, the food and the service. There are a couple of special mentions we'd like to make: Charlotte Kidd (Wedding Coordinator) - Charlotte was so helpful on the lead up to our wedding. She was very quick to respond to an of our enquiries and helped organise the day so it ran smoothly. We are very grateful to Charlotte for all of her hard work and her help. She is a credit to the hotel and we will be highly recommending the hotel to anyone we know wanting a venue for events or weddings largely due to the service Charlotte provided. Yanik Genouw (Restaurant Manager) - Yanik delivered a high standard of service and kept the day well organised, and for this we can not thank him enough. He ensured every single guest was well taken care of and the atmosphere at the wedding was amazing - this is due to our guests feeling comfortable and happy in the White Swan. I just want to thank everyone for the wonderful service we had from all the staff on Saturday.You made my daughter's wedding day magical & everyone I spoke to thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were beautiful,clean & very comfortable. The wedding,reception and evening "party"were absolutely perfect & all the food delicious. I would recommend your Hotel to anyone. Amazing Day!
We had an amazing day and are now really enjoying married life. Everyone at the White Swan was fantastic and the day went really smoothly. Top marks! Our Daughters Fantastic Wedding!!!!!!
Our daughter’s wedding was a great success and a gloriously memorable day, thanks in no small part to the efforts and attentions of managers and staff at The White Swan, in Alnwick. Their care and assistance in the early planning stages were invaluable. Nothing was too much trouble. Their vast experience in such events was obvious from the start and they were only too pleased to make their wealth of knowledge and understanding available to us. Nothing was too much trouble. Paul even provided us with his private mobile phone number so we could contact him at any time - as stress and panic began to build! They had no objection to our frequent visits to check details, and on these occasions either Paul or Charlotte were always on hand to welcome us. Their attention to our concern was enormously reassuring. Everything was done to accommodate us and our time schedule. Their handling of third parties was similarly professional and sensitive. It goes without saying that the venue itself – the Olympic Suite – is stunning. Our guests were bowled over by its grandeur. On the Big Day, we were all welcomed most warmly. Attention to detail was meticulous. Sheila, Toast Master for the day, was on hand throughout to ensure everything ran smoothly. Food and wine were excellent. All members of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Their solicitous concern remains an intrinsic part of our memories of a delightful and successful day. We felt at all times that our day was the only thing that mattered to them. We would have no hesitation in recommending The White Swan in Alnwick to anyone planning a significant event. Bookings can be made with confidence. From start to finish everyone was helpful, considerate and tremendously supportive.

Such a wonderful day!
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Sheila and Charlotte and all those at the White Swan who made our wedding day absolutely perfect. We had to organise our wedding in 3 weeks as my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, but the short time frame never seemed to be a hindrance as all our wishes were catered for. The fact that we were having a smaller wedding of 35 guests in the Castle Suite did not effect the level of service we received in any way, and both Sheila and Charlotte went out of their way to make sure we had the wedding we wanted. The food was fantastic, people are still talking about the game terrine and lamb! Thank you!

We had the best time ever!
Dear Paul Thank you very much, it was a fabulous day and we had the best time ever. We have just arrived back from Honeymoon and have hit the ground with a bump!! You were all extremely helpful and we have had so many positive comments about how well organized and what a great time everyone had at the White Swan. Thank you for being so accommodating with last minute changes of plans! The food was very very good which was complimented by the service. Thank you for the comment about the organizational skills. The perfect day!!
We had the absolute perfect day from start to finish thanks to the brilliant staff, who ensured everything flowed throughout the day exactly how we wanted. Everyone at the hotel is so friendly, and nothing was a problem. The Olympic Suite was the perfect setting for the whole day with so much atmosphere and history, and the food was delicious! Our guests are still talking about what a fantastic day they had, and we are so grateful to all at The White Swan. Our only disappointment is that we can't do it all over again!! We highly recommend The White Swan for your special day!!
