Every wedding or civil partnership at Wentworth Castle Gardens can be tailored to meet your exact requirements.

Our Wedding Co-ordinator would be delighted to guide, and advise you, through your preparations, but final decisions are made by you. Our aim is to make your wedding day the most memorable day of your life.

Few wedding venues can match Wentworth Castle Gardens for its beautiful landscaped historic setting, coupled with the experience and professionalism of turning your wedding dream into reality.

The Long Barn dates from 1715 and is our superb licensed venue for civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships. A maximum of 100 guests can be seated for a ceremony and wedding breakfast. It features a Medieval timber roof, oak floor and views across 600 acres of Grade 1 listed parkland.

St James’ Hall, the former family estate church dates from 1835 and accommodates more intimate dining events for up to 50 guests.

St James’ Hall is used in conjunction with Long Barn for all weddings held here at Wentworth Castle Gardens. It is the perfect place for a children’s entertainment room, a “photo shop” or as a chill-out area away from the evening party in the Long Barn.

      Absolutely fantastic in every way!
      We had a perfect ceremony, reception and evening. The venue and gardens are stunning, Jade the wedding co-ordinator is fabulous! She ensured everything was in hand and from the first meeting and even now after being married a few months she has been in touch and has become a friend.       The Perfect Day
      As soon as we saw Wentworth Castle Gardens we fell in love with it and looked no further for the perfect venue. Jade was so helpful and reassuring throughout we had a completely stress free day. Our photographer had never been to the venue and loved it, as did all of our guests. We had such wonderful comments about our special day and the team at WCG, Jade especially. Thank you so much for a day we'll never forget.

      Perfect venue in very way!
      Jade and the team at WCG helped us have a perfect wedding day. Their service was second to none and the day went without any problem- we hardly noticed the team running around behind the scenes! The turn around between ceremony- wedding breakfast- reception was quick seamless and faultless. The setting was truly beautiful with pictures in the park land and by the various monuments. (driving the golf buggy was cool too- kept me entertained while saving my wife's feet/shoes!) Perfect venue, perfect location, perfect staff!

      First Class Wedding Venue
      Although I am British, I now live in America with my American husband. We were wanting an unusual wedding 'celebration' with our British friends and family as we were already married in America. Jade did an incredible job of accommodating all of our quirky needs and provided is with the most exquisite wedding celebration & fabulous memories. I can not recommend Wentworth Castle Gardens for your wedding highly enough - for its setting, facilities, food, personnel - it is the whole package.

      A perfect day in a perfect venue
      We had nothing but praise for Jade, the wedding co - ordinator, from our guests about how we were looked after. She made everyone feel welcome with her warmth and friendliness. Jade has exceptional organisational skills and managed the day without being obtrusive.It all went like clock work and that is down to Jades experience and engaging personality. The venue itself and the grounds just lend themselves to making the day magical and romantic even for the more mature bride and groom. Thank you so much Jade.
