Excellent
We got married at the Village hotel Cardiff on 1st May 2011. From the moment we booked this venue, the service was excellent thanks to the wedding co-ordinater Sarah. She was always helpful with advice and any questions I had (no matter how silly!) and our wedding day went very smoothly and we have absolutely no doubt that we chose the right venue for our wedding. The food was lovely which everyone commented on and the staff present on the day went out of their way to make sure the day went how we wanted.

Flawless
I cant express how pleased we were with our wedding here last Saturday. Martin Eagle was faultless a credit to the hotel! The day went perfectly from start to finish, the staff were fantastic and made us feel so special.As for Ian the DJ if you get a chance book him, he was great and fantastic especially with the children The only problem is its over, I want to do it all again!!

Can i just say a massive thankyou to sarah watts and holly and james. sarah you really made it special thankyou.everything that i requested was done, sometimes not the easiest of requests.i would be more than happy to recommend this venue to anyone,when i seen my room set up it was the best moment ever!

Absolutely Fantastic!!!
We got married 24th April 2010. From the moment we viewed the Village Hotel Martin Eagle and the staff were very polite and extremely helpful. We booked straight away and any questions we had or if we wanted to add or change certain things it was never a problem. The day itself was absolutely fantastic, the service provided by all the staff was excellent. We were very pleased with the way the inspiration suite looked for the ceremony it was beautiful and the reception looked stunning. The food was lovely, everone was impressed! The day went without a hitch and the staff at the Village had a lot to do with that. We couldnt have asked for it to go better. We would definately reccommend the Village Hotel to others for special events, especially a wedding. We loved it so huge thanks to everyone at the Village!!

Truly Brilliant!!
We had our wedding breakfast and reception at The Village on Fri 24th July 09 and it really was the best day of our lives and we couldn''t have done it without the Village, in particular Martin Eagle. Nothing we asked for was too much, every aspect of the day was taken care of and we wouldn''t change it for the world. If we could do it all over again then we would still use the Village! We would deinately recommend using the Village for any celebration, most importantly Weddings!!

Absolutely Fantastic!
We recently had our Civil Partnership reception at the Villahe Hotel Cardiff, and we cannot praise the hotel enough. Our first big thank you goes to Sarah Watts who arranges everything for us, and nothing we asked was too much for her. Communication from the start was fantastic! On the day, we were greeted with Red Carpet on the steps. This was a really nice touch! The food was outstanding, and the service from the staff was always polite, courteous and friendly. I want to say that our special day was made even more special by the Village Hotel - Thank You all!

Our daughter and son-in-law''s wedding reception was held at the Village Hotel, Cardiff at the end of October 2008. From Day 1, our wedding co-ordinator could not have been more helpful. On the day itself, the welcome was warm, the Inspiration Suite looked amazing and such care had been taken over every detail. Our buffet was beautifully presented and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We so appreciated everything that was done for us. We have no hesitation in recommending the Village Hotel in Cardiff as a venue for such a special day.

Fantastic wedding venue!
We got married on Friday 25th July and from start to finish it was fabulous. Staff couldn't do enough for us or our guests, the food was brilliant and the day flew by without any problems. The day was exactly how we wanted it!! Thankyou Village Hotel!

WOW!! What a fantastic day from start to finish.
From the moment we booked our wedding ceremony and reception with Emily Kibbler the wedding co-ordinator at the village it was without a doubt perfectly well organised down to the very finest details and very stress free. We got married on 20th June 2008 and nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. After several visits to the village to make the arrangements we always felt really welcome and the village began to feel like home from home. On the day of the wedding I felt really relaxed on entering the hotel as Emily and all the staff were there to greet me with a friendly reassuring smile that told me everything was going to be perfect how right they were. The ceremony room looked beautiful just as I had expected and the civil ceremony simply lovely. When we went into the main room to have photos cutting the cake before all the guests nothing could prepare me for what I seen I was speechless it was absolutely perfect, I was blown away they had followed all my instructions perfectly. I could not say that there was anything I would have changed. The food was excellent and served to a very high standard. The whole day just flowed and my guests commented on many occasions about how helpful and friendly the staff in all areas of the hotel were. The evening buffet was more than plenty for all the guests and served bang on time. All the 24 guest rooms booked were exactly as requested no problems checking in either, our bridal suite was lovely rose petals on the bed, balloons, strawberries, chocolates and champagne what more can you ask for. The following day was just as relaxed the staff had put all our belongings in a locked room for us. We were treated the same the day after as we were on the big day. I would truly recommend the village because the staff are wonderful they made us feel important and made a special day even more special. we will always treasure our memories of that day and I would do it all again in a heartbeat if I could. Thanks again Emily and all the team for the superb 1st class service you gave us. We will recommend you to everyone. xxx

Perfect Day
We got married on the 16th June 2007 and from start to finish the day was perfect. The staff were more than helpfull and leading up to the big day Martin the co-ordinator was a star. The food, day and night was fantastic and the DJ was great and played everything our guests and we wanted. All of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and what a fab day and night they had. This was the best day of our lifes and we will always treasure our memories. Thank you for a superb service and we would highly recommend the venue to anyone. xx

Great Wedding Venue,
We held our wedding ceremony and reception here on the 8th April 2007. After visiting a number of venues we felt that The Village offered a competitive price with a high quality service and excellent reputation. Martin who co-ordinated the wedding was reliable, helpful and enthusiastic which really helped take the pressure off the organising. On the day the staff were all really friendly, polite and helpful and made everyone feel welcome. The DJ was also excellent and friendly. However, the evening disco did start just over one hour late due to a staff changeover at the hotel, which meant that our guests were left hanging around for three hours following the day reception. I would recommend the florist Rebecca who is regularly used by the hotel, and provided perfect flower and table arrangements for the day at a very reasonable rate. All guests thoroughly enjoyed the day and commented on the high quality of the hotel. The main downfall was that they did not have any facilities for babies such as bottle warmers or anywhere to heat food, which created a slight problem as we have a son who was only 17 months at the time, and we stayed at the hotel for 3 evenings.
