What an amazing day
We just wanted to write and thank you for your support in making our wedding day amazing. We had a fantastic time, and have been so impressed by the amazing service you have provided. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and you have gone above and beyond to help us with the planning of our wedding. All our guests have commented on how special they thought the venue was, how great the food has been and how impeccable the service was. We have had such a special day, and you have played a major role in achieving this. We cannot thank you enough and we really appreciate all the effort and hard work you have put into our wedding.

Just wanted to say thank you to you and your staff you went above and beyond your call of duty on my wedding day, all my guests described my wedding as amazing and a big part of that was down to you. The food was amazing and it was decorated beautifully. The bouncy castle was a great idea and im sure all the children will agree. I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us we really do appreciate it.

We had an AMAZING day
Thank you very much for making our wedding day so special, we had endless comments on how good the food was and how beautiful the venue looked, it was exactly how we envisioned! (I believe the marquee dressing is credit to Jackie & team! ) The grounds looked great too and the garden games were a hit with the children! The dining & bar staff did a great job and were very efficient, Mada was fantastic, ensuring we were always kept informed, at ease and happy on the day, she did a great job of coordinating all the staff in a very professional manor! Stephanie, thank you for doing a great job in the last few weeks getting us organised for the big day! The DJ was great, he played a mixture of songs which everyone enjoyed. Peter Craft, the toastmaster was excellent, great attention to detail and was very subtle which is what we wanted, he did a fab job of making sure the day flowed. We had an AMAZING day!

I would definitely recommend Trunkwell
"Trunkwell House was the perfect venue for our wedding in May 2011. The house is beautiful with lots of character, providing the ideal place for our intimate wedding ceremony, while the lawn and marquee were great for the early evening drinks reception and follow on party. Everyone commented on how great the food was, and how much there was of it! All the staff were brilliant and Jane made sure our day ran smoothly. I would definitely recommend Trunkwell and it's team as they helped us arrange our perfect day. Thank you. Abi"

What can i say about the day................fantastic atmosphere, the venure looked stunning from start to finish, the rose petals when i walked down the aisle looked stunning - everything was perfect. The team were amazing, Mada made me feel very relaxed and i knew if i needed anything she would be there, it was great to have her there and the rest of the team were excellent too. The food was gorgeous, everyone who attended the wedding said it was the best wedding food they have had the soup was piping hot (which is unusual for the quantity of people) I enjoyed every bit of it. The evening was really lovely too - the dancefloor looked amazing the guests said how pretty everything looked and really enjoyed the bacon and sausage baps - the sweets looked great too and were certainly a hit!!! The disco was great - it was a very relaxed environment and everyone enjoyed it and felt they could let their hair down! The day was organised so well and i would not hesitate to recommend trunkwell as a venue. My parents passed on their thanks too. I can't say much else apart from thank you thank you thank you for making our day such a special memory for many people.

Thank you for everything
Wow cant believe roughly a month ago I got married. Firstly I wanted to thank you for all your help in the run up to the wedding and then also everything you did to make my day everything I wanted. Little things that I wasn't expecting really proved how well you thought of all ages. For example I believe I saw you giving bowls of cut up fruit to the younger children who couldn't eat the meals and more importantly the games like twister, jenga blocks and the big connect 4 that were great for getting the kids together and keeping them busy but also giving them something that would entertain them so I really appreciate those 'little things' that made a big difference. The suppliers that were recommended through trunkwell did fantastic jobs also, Seventh Heaven events, the chocolate fountain and our toastmaster so thank you for either arranging those for us or giving their information over. It was alot easier working with people that already know what they can do with the venue. Not forgetting the food and the staff. Everyone had great things to say about the food and the fact that it was hot (not sure if most people expect lukewarm food at a wedding) and well prepared. From the canapes to the sit down meal and ofcourse the dessert buffet with cheese selection. There were a few people who didn't even know there was a dessert buffet but that was only because I believe they were too intoxicated by that point! So a big thank you to the head chef and everyone else who was involved on the day. The venue, grounds, food, and service were exceptional so once again thank you for everything.

A special day we will remember forever
Darren and I could not of wished for a better day. The sun was shining and the surroundings in which we were to marry were exquisite. Prior to the big day Mada and Stephanie were helpful and worked with us to create the Wedding Day we had dreamed of. The results spoke for themselves with many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue and grounds were. As any bride and groom on their wedding day we were both anxious to ensure that the day went without a hitch. Mada and her team of staff took care of every little detail leaving us to enjoy our special day. From the moment myself and my bridesmaids arrived up to the time final guests left the staff at Trunkwell House were attentive and on hand to help with any eventuality. A special day which we, along with all of our guests will remember forever.

The wedding of the year
Getting married in April 2011 was always going to raise comparisons, but it has been commented to be ‘the wedding of the year’ this was due to a number of different elements, one of which was not only Trunkwell House, but the staff and organisation there. We loved the look on Trunkwell House when ploughing through the numerous wedding venues online, and when we saw it, it was as if our dream wedding was appearing in front of our eyes. The picture perfect frontage and its beautiful lawn was the ideal setting for the purpose build marquee where the magic would take place. In this we opted for the blue starlit ceiling and the white starlit dance floor, which glistened throughout the day and into the evening, keeping the kids and some of the adulated entertained! It was simply stunning. Being that it was an April wedding we could not have predicted the weather, Trunkwell shone in the sun which we where lucky to get, however it still would have sparkled in the rain. Steph and her team really did bring a sense of calm to the day with everything running smoothly and every single guest looked after. During the planning process Steph made us feel like we were the only couple getting married at Trunkwell, she was very personal and was always prompt to reply to any questioned we asked. The food which we were served was mouth watering good, and all the guests commented on the superb flavour. So many people asked where we found Trunkwell – it really is 'Berkshire’s best kept secret'.
