A dream weddingI am getting married at the Tregenna in May 2003 and have had a wonderful time organising it with the staff at the Tregenna. Helen is especially helpful and open to all ideas. The hotel is very accomodating, very comfortable and very formal without being too snobish. The rooms are all elegantly decourated and most have exceptional views. The grounds are amazing and make the whole experience breathtaking. If you can persuade all your family to take a trip down to St Ives its more than worth the drive.

Lovely grounds and beautiful setting.Reception booked for June 2003. So far all face to face contact with Hotel Managers has been excellent, although it is very hard to get them on the telephone. I have been less impressed with front line staff as they are not as cheerful and helpful as I would like. Details are easy to sort out and they are open to your ideas. I would have liked for the hotel to offer corkage and not only their own alcohol as it is expensive, although you don't have to have their drinks packages if you don't want to. They throw in a lot of extras for free, Toastmaster, Red Carpet, Room for changing and for Bride and Groom for the night, Grand Piano in reception room, cake stand and knife and they draw up your Seating and Table Plans in your colours for you. I have been impressed so far!

Beautiful seaside wedding venueGetting married here in June 2001 so not much to report yet... however so far can tell you the hotel is comfortable and attractive without being intimidating, face-to-face service is fantastic (although correspondence is a little slow hence only 3 stars at the mo and web services are poor), and it's surprisingly good value. The best bit is the view... stunning seascape over the ocean with a lighthouse and the beautiful town of St Ives at your feet, set in grounds with waterfalls and a golf course. Facilities are great including creche and health suite, and disabled access is good with everything needed for the reception level at the ground floor. Email me if you want more info! Em
