Just to point out...
Don't get me wrong here, Tortworth Court is beautiful and since it has had the refurbishment it certainly seems that the only direction is up. I wanted to submit something just to warn everyone that Kelly, the wedding co-ordinator is expecting a boby which is amazing news for her but not so amazing for us brides. I don't want to put down her replacement but I don't know how you go about replacing such a fantatstic person with unrivaled knowledge of weddings as a whole, she really has made my day already. I feel as though my day has lost something wonderful, so I thought I would pre-warn other brides. She has assured me she is coming back but it will be after my big day :-( I hope it isn't after yours.

Service is not jeopordised - even on a budget!
Tortworth Court has always been for me, my DREAM venue. With a family and a mortgage already, I didn't think that my dream could be a reality. I went to see Kelly, the wedding co-ordinator who made me feel like royalty from the second I saw her - I certainly had not had the same warm welcome at other venues similar in nature. Not only did she not look down her nose at me in anyway, but went back to her office and drew up an entirely bespoke package to suit my budget - meaning in a nutshell she made my dreams come true! All through the planning Kelly was on hand, always happy to answer questions, going way beyond what was expected of her, and her meticulous planning carried on right through till the day. On the day itself Kelly handed over to Craig and his team in the stunning orangery. Craig is so calm and relaxed, you can't help but enjoy the day. The food is excellent and all your guests are looked after so well by the rest of the staff. It's a magical place, and the staff at Tortworth Court make it more of a dream venue than any others we saw in the area. Don't discount this venue as un-affordable. You will be very surprised, especially if you can be flexible. Kelly is the best wedding co-ordinator in the world, I wouldn't have had my dream day without her! xx

Excellent
A big thank you to all the staff at Tortworth Court hotel, we had an excellent wedding day there on 11/11/11. We have had lots of comments from our guests on the venue and especially the food which was exceptional. Kelly the wedding co-ordinator is a superstar!

Our favourite ever day, best ever venue!
Both myself and my husband (ahhh!) do not even know where to begin our praise for Tortworth Court. Kelly, Nicki and James the toastmaster make-up the best part of a truly spectacular and professional team of people. Our day and the planning process before was absolutely brilliant. Kelly was amazing the whole way through, happy to answer all our questions (even the akward ones!), went above and beyond what she is paid to do - all with the amazing smile that is always on her face, nothing was too much trouble. The chef adapted the menu to bend to some very particular dietary requirements and the food that was delivered was just delightful! James the toastmaster ensured the smooth running of the day, we didn't have to think about anything at all. In short, a fantastic venue, professional staff, the best wedding co-ordinator, stunning grounds, delicious food - we will be using the hotel as often as possible. Thank you xxx

The Best Day of our Lives!
Tortworth Court is incredibly special to us. We had an absolutely fantastic day. Our wedding co-ordinator; Kelly was more than we could have wished for! Very professional, passionate about the job she does and laugh riot (if we're being honest!) we have a new friend for life. The food was outstanding, room number 80 (with it's own turret) is fit for queens, the staff are fantastic - it's the best hotel we have experienced and would whole-heartedly recomend other brides have a chat and hot chocolate with Kelly before deciding on anywhere else! The best day of our lives - thank you xxx

A wonderful Wedding Day!
Just want to say a huge thank you to Kelly for planning our wedding day to the highest possible standard and ensuring nothing could go wrong. I'd also like to personally thank you for your patience, kindness and a willingness to put yourself out for your brides! On the day itself I could not say enough thanks to Craig and the toastmaster; James for their support and the attention to detail, time and effort that was spent ensuring all your planning was executed to perfection. All our guests have commented on our wonderful wedding day, most have plans to return for special occassions. We were over the moon with everything at Tortworth and wish we could marry there again and again.

Fantastic!
We had a fantastic day at Tortworth Court. The booking process was easily understood and efficiant. On the day, between the staff, the food and the atmosphere we could not find fault with anything. Special mentions to Kelly, the Wedding Co-ordinator who kept things stress-free and exciting. Craig, the manager of the Orangery who is great and the toastmasters used by Tortworth Court for their functions, all were exceptional and contributed highest to ensuring the success of our special day.

Superb Venue!
Just wanted to say that we had a brilliant wedding day at Tortworth Court. It is a superb venue in which to get married. The food was superb, tasty and enjoyed by all of our guests - a rareity I have found previously with banqueting food. The staff are exceptional, with special thanks to Kelly who planned our day meticulously and with a truly creative attention to detail.

A Wonderful Wedding Day.
We had an absolutely wonderful wedding day at Tortworth Court. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful, the function suites are well laid out and allow you to ensure privacy for your wedding party and the food is delicious! We would like to pay particular compliments to Kelly (the best wedding planner in the entire world) Craig (who is extremely efficiant yet relaxed in managing the staff) and James (acting toastmaster who was fantastic at keeping our guests under control - even learning Spanish!) A wonderful day - made more so by such a great venue and it's staff. Thanks Kelly, my day was perfect just as you promised!

Perfect
We'd been for a meal at Tortworth Court the night we got engaged and decided there and then that no other venue would match up to our high expectations! Our actual wedding day at Tortworth Court was just perfect, we had spent twenty months planning and the helpful, professional staff made it easy and stress free. We had our ceremony in the Room at the Top and decorated it with lots of flowers - it was magical. Our wedding breakfast took place in the Orangery which was stunning. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavour and lots of it! To sum up, Tortworth Court is the perfect wedding venue and the staff there are so organised and helpful you don't need to worry about a thing!

Few words of advice for a potential bride
Unfortunately I am not holding my wedding at Tortworth Court. My preferred date was taken and due to my church being booked I couldn't be flexible. The reason for my review is this: The wedding co-ordinator at Tortworth Court is by far the nicest, most professional and most knowledgeable I have come across (and I have visited a lot of venues) Her name is Kelly, she went above and beyond to try to help in every way she could. It has left me with the most wonderful impression of Tortworth Court and I do wish my big day was being held there. Although I am pleased with my venue - I would prefer that Kelly was my wedding co-ordinator! I would reccomend that any bride looking to plan a stress-free wedding at a lovely venue call Kelly first and foremost.
