THE BEST wedding venue!
Our wedding took place mid-august at the Lakeside marquee. What a beautiful venue with excellent staff who make sure every detail is perfect. The team have great respect for the property and its surroundings, which is why it remains so beautiful. They are ultra-professional and I would happily recommend them HIGHLY to anyone thinking of having their big day here. You will not be disappointed!

An exceptional venue who made our day perfect.
We got married at Thornton Manor and had a truly exceptional day. From the moment we first went to view the venue, the staff have been incredibly kind, attentive and professional. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and from the great hallway to the music room, each room you enter is more spectacular. Each of the bedrooms in the manor house is unique and delightful and all of our wedding guests commented that they did not want to go home the next morning. Throughout our day there was always a staff member on hand willing to attend to our every need and continued to amaze us with their forethought and consideration. In particular Philip and Dianne became more like friends than anything else and were visible throughout the day and evening to check that we were happy and there was nothing else they could help with. There was one particular young man that oversaw our evening festivities and the next morning we discovered that although he had not gone home until 3.30am he was back before breakfast smiling and having organised everything for us. He ensured that there gentlemen on each floor to carry every guests' luggage even if it was only a small overnight bag. We could not have dreamed of a more perfect day and much of this is due to Thornton Manor and their staff. Maxine and Chris
