Excellent venue and service
We hired out The Ridings Barn at Theobalds Park. Everything is self-contained, meaning your guests can stay in the rooms that are situated off the courtyard. The courtyard itself is beautiful, the barn is a good size. The wedding breakfast and service can not be faulted. Staff were so helpful. Our wedding ran like clockwork.

A few niggles but overall, well worth it.
Married here on 20th June 2009. Katie and her team did a great job and did everything we asked for. Venue looked lovely and the food was superb. On the whole we would recommend. OK, so maybe I''m too fussy but the faults we encountered were: too many ''managers'' about on the day but none when we needed one. Videographer started the speeches! Dev dissappeared soon after ceremony and we didn''t see him again until the Sunday. Some of the hired chair covers were put into venue''s laundry....yet to be found! Important point for Bride...Make sure they know your wishes re the ceremony. I was rushed along with my bridesmaids down the aisle and consequently nobody got any direct pictures of them....and I was 5 mins early ! Be warned. Make them listen to you.

Everyone member of staff at Theobalds Park contributed to us having the best day. From Katie, our wedding co-ordinator to Dev, the hilarious toastmaster, Theobalds Park with it''s surroundings, food, professional and efficient staff made our special day effortless. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this reasonably priced venue to anyone – everything and everyone involved were outstanding – and I have high expectations generally!!
