This is a terrific venue. We had our wedding reception here and we had such a wonderful day. The staff were brilliant and the food was amazing. It's an absolute gem of a place

The White Swan hosted the wedding reception of my daughter and, now, son-in-law. The happy couple enjoyed the reception enormously and there were many approving words from guests. The quality of the food was high, beautifully served and delivered precisely on time. The service provided by the staff on the day was excellent, courteous and prompt. In particular, we were grateful to Nadia, the Events Manager, for her patience and flexibilty during the various adjustments made to the arrangements shortly before the wedding date

Great venue!
We recently held our wedding reception at The White Swan. Special thanks must go to Nadia for her patience and advice in the run up to the day and to all the staff at The white Swan who helped everything go to plan on the day. Mass catering is always difficult but the food was consistently good with each dish as good as the next. This was coupled with a high standard of service throughout the day and evening. We have had nothing but good remarks from guests who all enjoyed themselves, and this is a reflection on the venue and the staff at The White Swan.

We are regular diners at The White Swan's sister restaurant The Gun in Docklands, so we know how excellent the food is within this group. When we got married in September, The Gun was just a bit too big for our needs but The White Swan is the perfect size (there were 80 of us) and also as it's in the City, it would usually be closed on a Saturday so they don't charge a fortune for you to rent it out. Because there is a dining room upstairs, it's perfect for a wedding as those wanting a quiet chat and a coffee or glass of wine can sit upstairs, while the youngsters dance downstairs. There are two separate music systems so you can even have different music going on in both. Nadia, who organises everything, was brilliant. She offered great advice on amounts of food and drink (we were fairly clueless but her advice was spot on). We dropped off boxes of placenames, fairylights, flowers, vases and tealights the night before, and by the time we arrived on Saturday, the place looked amazing. Special mention also to the barstaff who were brilliant fun and looked after everyone. Even if you're not planning a special do, the White Swan is highly recommended for ordinary dining and drinking. We spent a fair bit of time there in the run-up, doing tastings and measurements etc, and it's a very special little find.

A real success!
Well my wedding in August was fantastic! Just as I had hoped the day was smooth and easy. I have to thank Francesca who organised this for me, she was so helpful -it was very apparent that she found it of the utmost importance that I had things just the way and needed and desired. Three months on I still feel incredible joy when I recollect the wonderful evening that was had. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Intimate dinner
We had our intimate wedding reception here at The White Swan a couple of weeks ago now and I have to say the food was amazing and the dining room was unique just what we wanted, thank you to the staff whos attention to detail was magnificent.

So far so good
I am having my wedding reception here in August and am currently in the process of organising the event. I have to say, the staff have been incredibly professional and helpful, it has made the whole thing a breeze. The events manager has been extremely attentive and understanding of all of our needs and the head chef has readily agreed to catered to our exact requirements, including the special dietary requirements of several of our guests. I feel I can now sit back and wait for my special day without any concerns. I only hope it all comes off and wonderfully as I am anticipating. Watch this space, I will give feedback after the occassion!

All we wanted at The White Swan
I was intially dubious about having my wedding reception in a 'gastro pub' but my then fiance encouraged me to just have a look saying it is the way forward!! Well I did and I can say that I had the most wonderful reception, it was truly what we wanted, an intimate dinner (amazing top notch food) with my close friends and family and then a party afterwards with my friends. I felt like we had the whole street to ourselves and a late license until 3am had people dancing all morning! Thank you to the staff at The White Swan
