Everything went very smoothly
Just wanted to write and say that I had a wonderful evening at the Wharf this Saturday. The food was great - so many people said how much they enjoyed it and planned to return to eat at the restaurant. Everything went very smoothly even when we ran out of birthday cake!! Please pass on my thanks to the staff who were pleasant, courteous and professional.

Cannot thank you enough...
I cannot thank you enough for organising such a super night for Nikki’s birthday party! It was such a huge success! Jessica was a star and made all the planning so easy, she made it is seem as if nothing was too much trouble and she did answer a zillion queries! The menu choice we had on our set menu was excellent and all the guests were very impressed with the choice. On the night, everything went so smoothly, from start to finish, with both Eric and Agron making sure all was perfect for us. Our lovely long table with prime river views was super! We had asked for fizz to be organised at the bar as people arrived, this was super cold and all ready to be handed out straight away and when the allotted number of bottles were almost finished, one of the waiters asked quietly would we like to have more. The meal, I have to say was impeccable, serving food to 30 people is never easy, the food was hot, tasted fantastic and presentation was excellent! Timing was spot on, no long waits and no rushing either, the service was perfect. I have to say The Wharf is such a lovely venue and different to other restaurants, when you walk in, you instantly feel you are somewhere special with the atmosphere warm and welcoming, but the main difference is that you deliver the goods! Please thank your team very much and I look forward to organising another party here very soon!

Helpful, professional, attentive but not intrusive
Will and I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the hard work you and your team put in to making our wedding dinner a fantastic night last Sunday. Everyone was brilliant - helpful, professional, attentive but not intrusive. I've had several compliments from people about just how good the food was. The biggest thanks of course go to Sonia. I am sure you know just what an asset she is. Her organisational skills are second to none and I know that the kind of service she gave is because she is passionate about what she does. She offered solutions to potential problems and everything was taken care of. I can't tell you how relieved I felt that I was in such good hands. Our evening at The Wharf rounded off a memorable weekend for us and once again we sincerely thank you for the part you all played in it.

What a wedding!
Wow! What a wedding!! Absolutely incredible - thank you all so much. We couldn't have picked a better place to spend our special day. The venue was perfect, the food was simply stunning and the service was flawless. We have had so many phone calls and comments this week about how wonderful the food and service was and how it really makes all the difference to have it in a restaurant rather than a hotel. People have really been dazzled on how it's possible to serve that many 'perfect steaks'! Most of our guests were local so I'm sure you will be getting some repeat business out of it. Our wedding day to us was just perfect and we can't thank you enough - from the meticulous planning beforehand to perfect delivery on the day - nothing was too much and every need was catered for…

Wonderful wedding reception
We just wanted to say the most biggest thank you ever for our wonderful wedding reception at the Wharf. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The venue itself looked brilliant and all our guests were commenting on what a great venue it is. The staff were brilliant and went beyond anything we expected. Even to the point where I had asked that the main doors not be open until the food was served and a member of your staff stood by the doors until the food was served. We did not expect the buffet to be served by your staff either - we thought it would be 'help yourself' so it was a lovely bonus to have that service. Again thank you so much - we had the most amazing day and the venue really made it for everyone and we really felt so looked after.

Excellent day
I am writing to thank you and your staff for the excellent day and evening we had at The Wharf on the occasion of our daughter Clare's wedding to Sean on 30th January. From start to finish everything worked so smoothly and to absolute perfection. Looking back now there is nothing that we know now that had we known then we would change. Your staff were excellent and looked after us and our guests with a maximum of attention, a minimum of fuss and always a warm smile. The food served on the day was first class, particularly the lamb, and we have had many words of thanks and praise from our guests to their enjoyment of the meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and would be happy to recommend The Wharf as a venue for any celebration our friends may want to have in the future.

As stressed free as we could have hoped for...
We can't believe it’s all over! The whole wedding day and evening was perfect and went so smoothly (very much down to the organisation of Sonia). Agron and the guys were lovely and attentive and made everything so relaxed, yet special for everyone, including the large number of children. The whole experience from our initial enquiries at the Wharf, right up to the day itself made our preparations as stress free as we could have hoped. We wanted an informal and relaxed day and from the outset Sonia emphasised the flexibility the venue offered, and totally delivered. Both our daytime and evening guests have without exception been full of praise for the venue, food, service and staff.
