There is a choice of charming rooms where registrars can conduct a civil marriage ceremony.The Library is ideal for smaller ceremonies and is licensed for up to 24 guests. We can even supply witnesses should you wish to be married quietly and with the minimum of fuss. The Gallery is licensed for 48 guests, has direct access to the Courtyard, flower-filled in summer, and to the riverside Swan Garden, a most beautiful location for photographs. The Signet Room is a most elegant dining room licensed for 100 guests, a wonderful venue for your marriage, reception and possibly an evening function.New for The Swan Hotel - Outdoor Ceremonies in the gardens Our beautiful gardens are now licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies. Ceremonies can now be conducted in our flower filled gardens within the heart of Bibury. We will provide the red carpet, flowers and chairs for your special day, followed by a drinks reception.Our Head Chef has created a delicious range of dishes for you to choose your set menu from. If you have any specific ideas Chef would be delighted to discuss them with you personally. The Swan Hotel is outstandingThe standard of accommodation, buffet, wedding breakfast and overall presentation of The Swan Hotel is outstanding and would strongly recommend this venue to anyone. Nothing was too much trouble. There were also many little, but very much appreciated, touches on the day which did not go un-noticed. The servicing of the cottage after the wedding party left to ensure that when they returned it was very well presented, the bottle of champagne and gift card, the flowers, the setting of the tables exactly as planned, the very polite waiters and waitresses and many more added to the day. The food was delicious - compliments to the Chef and his team.

Happiest day of our livesThank you for making our wedding day the happiest day of our lives! We truly had a most magnificent wedding day. It really was a magical day, nothing was too much trouble and we both especially appreciated the little touches made on the day! We had a perfect dayWe had a perfect day and it was everything I had imagined the day to be. The setting was perfect, the weather was perfect and everyone has commented on how wonderful the hotel and food was. We had a very happy set of guests. I am certain we shall return to the Swan hotel to celebrate many anniversaries in the future. We were also given a painting of the hotel as a momento of the perfect setting.

Magical wedding dayThank you so very, very much for helping to give us such a magical wedding day! We loved every single minute of it and we were looked after so well. A wonderful dayThe day went perfectly, the food was fantastic, and the standard of service was wonderful. I really felt that you all did everything possible to ensure we and our guests had a wonderful day. We've had so many comments on how much our guests enjoyed the day. Thank you so much for helping to make it one of the best days of our lives - it's just a shame we can't do it every year.

A Perfect DayWe had our wedding here in November 2007. It was absolutely perfect- the staff are ever so helpful and it is utterly gorgeous! Not cheap- but worth the expense! The only weak point is the bland bar area.
