If you are looking for the wow factor, look no further.  The Queens is the most stunning wedding venue in the city centre.  The Art Deco glamour of this historic hotel will have your guests jaws dropping before they even catch a glimpse of the happy couple.

Whether you are looking to organise the big white wedding or something a little more intimate, we have a variety of rooms for you to choose from.  With all our rooms licensed for civil ceremonies we have everything to make your day special all under one beautiful roof! The Queens ballroom is the fairytale venue for any wedding for up to 450 guests and the adjacent reception area and Ark Royal Suite are perfect for those reception drinks and canapés before your guests sit down to indulge in the sumptuous wedding breakfast.  For more intimate celebrations the beautiful Palm Court is a truly special room to hold your wedding celebrations. 

We know the sheer amount of planning that goes into making your one special day special.  Our Wedding Co-ordinator will live and breathe your wedding with you, we’ll be on the end of the phone whenever you need reassurance or just want to double and triple check details.  Our eye for detail, professionalism and years of experience will make sure your guests take away as many fond memories as you.

Amazing

Joanna. I wanted to say a massive thank you to you and your team the day was perfect. The staff from the waitresses to the reception staff were amazing, second to non. I would like you to pass on our heartfelt thanks to all your team there. What an absolute credit to you all! The young girl that was on reception she was brilliant. And the events manager, I keep forgetting his name, was fantastic. An amazing man! To the chef also, not one person said the food was nothing more than perfect. I just wanted to write on here. As me and my fiancé are getting married at the queens next year I just cannot wait this hotel is amazing all the staff are friendly and nothing is too much for them ! The food is excellent , even the first time I ever stayed it was a memory to remember ! And Helen the Wedding Co-Ordinator is fantastic So I strongly recommend if you are looking for a place to get married the "Queens" is a perfect match!

Dear Ivan, I felt I wanted to send you this email because for the past weeks I have been dealing with one of your staff members, a Helen Berriman. Helen has been professional from day 1 and is always so helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble. I met Helen at the Queens on one occasion with my client Mr and Mrs Brear and Helen was so helpful, her manner is excellent and the reason I wanted to send this email is that it isn’t often you encounter somebody who understands and portrays great customer service. As yet we haven’t totally agreed to go with the Queens as our chosen venue, but this is not detrimental to Helen, because my client asked me who I would prefer to work with at all the venues we have been in discussion with, I chose Helen as she stands out from the crowd. Hopefully we will be proceeding with the Queens especially if you can release the 13th October, we are currently provisionally holding the 12th October. Helen is a credit to the Queens Hotel and believe me it isn’t often you encounter somebody like her, she does make the Queens stand out from its competitors. Regards Sue

A Night to Remember

It was the best event |I have organised because of the smooth running of the whole evening. I can honestly say there wasn't a hitch and we all had "A Night to Remember" the apt title of our event. We are already planning another for next year! Allison managed the whole event in a professional and consistently pleasant manner-even when the table plans changed every other minute, she remained calm, smiling and competent....consequently the evening went without a hitch! All comments I heard afterwards were very positive.

Dear Helen Berriman This is just a quick note to say a huge thank you to you and your staff at the Queens Hotel, My husband and I married on the 1st of March and had our wedding breakfast at your hotel it was only a small affair with 40 Guests in the John Charles suite but we were treat with the highest regards from the bar tenders in the main bar whilst having our canapes to the waiting staff in the suite during our meal, your Master of ceremonies (sorry name eludes me but she lives just up the road from us in Morley)..lol was fantastic and couldn't do enough to help especially when my father got his tomato soup and then decided to inform me that he didn't like tomato soup she overheard and immediately offered to change it for something else (veg soup) and apparently a few of our other guests cheekily manage to change their cray fish starters (which by the way were fantastic) to soup! So on a last note before we jet off on honeymoon I would like you to convey our deepest gratitude to all your staff who helped make our day so very very special and I mean everyone they do you proud we had a perfect day and I would recommend your hotel to anyone wishing to have a function there. A card with thanks will be sent to convey this once more but it will have to be after our honeymoon and this is why I wanted to email you before we went as I didn't want you to think that we were ungrateful. Mouthwatering

I along with 21 other guests attended a wedding meal on 1st August and i have to say the treatment we received that night was above and beyond any of our expectations. from the moment we arrived you can tell this hotels staff really do care we firstly went into the queens bar for a private drinks reception once that was done we were collected by the manager Rachel Brown to go through to our room where we would be eating which was set out for 18 guests Rachel quickly noticed extra guests had turned up and with this got her two staff to arrange extra seating and extra meals for these guests without hesitation. Then playing in background was music that didnt really suit our taste again Rachel without having to be asked quickly took her personal i phone out and put some of her music she had onto the player which we all loved she even found the couple a first dance song as they had brought a cd not i pod. Every single request was taken care of in a manner that quite frankly is a rare thing these days we were served with a fantastic 3 course meal of prawn cocktail to start and a choice of lamb or beef for main (MOUTHWATERING) and creme brule to finish even the extra guests were catered for. As we got speaking to Rachel later on which may i add she was only too happy to chat to us in a genuinly freindly manner we were amazed she had only just started 3 weeks earlier with the company it seemed she had been there years. Well done queens seems you are on to a winner with such caring staff.
