Outstanding service
Michael and I had our reception at The Petersham after our ceremony at St Stephens Church in Twickenham. Having lived in the area for a number of years we were always fond of The Petersham. We had a small intimate wedding, with a few close family and friends and took our drinks and canapes out onto the terrace attached to our room, which was called the river room, namely because of the beautiful view of the River Thames from it. Aside from that what really made our day was the service. The staff at The Petersham are unlike staff from any other hotel I have visited. Friendly, not snobish, professional and courteous, they could not do enough for us on the day and that means a lot. I would recommend The Petersham to anyone thinking of getting married.

Fab day
I attended a wedding, well, I say wedding, my best friends who's second marriage had been planned for a while now. Normally I would bother writing anything, however having just got engaged myself I am all 'weddings weddings weddings'. The Petersham was just amazing and the best thing was the views and the food, I didnt want to leave, the ceremony was wonderful, really intimate and then we all made our way out onto the private elevated terrace with views right across the river thames (which is on the hotels doorstep) The Petersham I believe only caters for smaller weddings, so I am now thinking of just inviting really close friends and family and have a smaller affair but luxury at this hotel instead. Its wonderful!!!!

Outstanding beauty!
John and myself were married at The Petersham in December last year. We were initially drawn to hotel when a friend of ours told us about the great food and their spectacular view from the restaurant. It’s hard to put into words what I felt when we visited The Petersham for the first time. It was out of this world. The ambience, the elegance, we fell in love with the hotel instantly. Despite being very nervous, the day itself was a breeze and I couldn’t be more grateful to the staff there, especially Andrew who’s calming nature had a rather meditating effect on me! The room where the ceremony took place had breathtaking views overlooking the Thames and meadow and after an intimate ceremony with 30 of our closest friends and family, we headed to The Terrace Suite for our champagne reception and much anticipated four course lunch. The food and wine were out of this world and surpassed our expectations and indeed the recommendation we’d already received. Thank you all so much for making the best day of my life such a warm and memorable occasion. I very much look forward to celebrating our first wedding anniversary with you!

Really unique venue with amazing views of the River Thames
My partner and I decided to get married in Richmond as opposed to where my parents are from simply because we knew The Petersham and really wanted to be married in such lovely surroundings. The River Room where we were married was stunning and we were lucky to have the sun shinning which was great because there is an elevated private terrace attached to the room with views across the river. Drinking champagne with my friends and family after just being made a 'mrs' is one the best memories I will ever have.
