lovely position and attractive building
We were married at The Petersham on Friday, 5th of October and wish to thank The Petersham for their help in making it a wonderful occasion. We had chosen The Petersham for its lovely position and attractive building. However, as a bonus, the service we received was excellent. As a guest at the hotel the night before the wedding and, on the morning of the wedding , I had some modest requests. All of these were handled quickly with charm and cooperation by those on the front desk. As part of the package, Janette and I stayed on the night of the wedding and, here too, everything was superb. The ceremony went smoothly and the reception was lovely with service that was prompt, low key and very effective. It may be invidious to mention one person but Vinnie, the duty manager, on the day is an effervescent character who was extraordinary in his attitude, helpfulness and energetic determination to make our day go well. We had guests who came from America and each one had looked at The Petersham’s website prior to travelling. They were all excited about the day but, in the event, their already high expectations were exceeded. All of our guests made a point of telling us how much they liked the hotel and the wedding itself. In retrospect, my overriding memory is of an occasion which went fantastically well but which also had a lovely atmosphere allowing us to feel free to relax and enjoy our big day.

Dear Judith, Fleur & Vinny, Thank you so much for all your hard work and efforts in organising our wedding day, both beforehand and on the big day. We had the most beautiful and elegant wedding day. Everything ran smoothly from my speedy room check in, right through to the safe departure of our guests at the end of the evening. Vinny, many thanks for your attentive and efficient service, you were perfect. Please pass on our thanks to the waiting staff and the chefs who created our delicious dinner. All our guests commented on the quality of the food and the lovely venue. We really will remember our wedding day as being exactly as we had hoped. Jo & Andy

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for a very lovely wedding day we both had at your hotel. All our guests enjoyed themselves very much and were very pleasantly taken by surprise with the unusual setting of the dining room, not to mentioned the beautiful meal that we all had. I think we did ourselves very proud with the food and the place where the wedding reception was held. Everyone was very impressed. Please convey our grateful thanks to the chefs and all those that prepared the food & also your pastry chef for the amazing wedding cake. It was absolutely delicious. I am very happy to say, we made the right choice in having our wedding reception at your hotel. Everything was excellent including your colleagues who served us. It was worth every penny! We definitely would come to have high tea or dinner at your hotel one day with the guests that we could not invite to our wedding. Unforgettable
A brief note to thank you for all of your work for our wedding. It was a perfect occasion from beginning to end and I have had many comments from guests impressed at the level of detail in the planning. I well know that this was entirely because of your skill at your job and your ability to cope with a compressed preparation period. Everything went extremely well.The room looked beautiful, the food was wonderful and the level of service was high yet discreet. I had earlier planned to take the guests back from the Church to the centre of London, perhaps to Claridges, but I am extremely glad that we didn't. Your hotel is distinctive and personal as opposed to corporate, and it immediately relaxed everyone present. The room too was marvellous. I believe it has the best view in London, from the church on the left to the terrace on the right. The sight of the meadow in full sun this morning was a great treat. Thank you for all of your help in making the weekend unforgettable.

A really special Day
Thank you for everything you did to make my wedding at the Petersham a really special day – all my guests thoroughly enjoyed it and Pabs and I had a relaxed and happy day in a beautiful setting which we will always remember. Thank you to the staff who did everything they could on the day to ensure we enjoyed it, they weren’t even phased when my Dad asked for another plate of sandwiches which followed swiftly; we really appreciate that kind of flexibility. I will of course recommend the Petersham to anyone looking for a wedding venue, and hope to visit again to celebrate our wedding anniversary or maybe even just for a cream tea. Thanks again

Wonderful memories
I just wanted to thank you so much for all your help at our recent wedding on the 4th September. We had a truly magical time and everybody remarked on the high quality service of all the staff and what a beautiful venue it is. Can you pass on my particular thanks to your duty manager, he was absolutely wonderful and made the whole day go off smoothly. In fact we had many compliments about how helpful he was. He even helped me with my sandals when they needed tightening!! Whenever we walk our dog along the river in Richmond we look up at the Petersham and it holds such fond personal memories for us now. So, thank you to you and all your team. My new husband and I intend to come back on our anniversary every year
