Colin Lewis Suite

Acton Suite
With views over the canal and lush Staffordshire countryside from its private terrace, the Acton Suite is the ideal blank canvas for larger weddings, holding up 130 guests for ceremonies and wedding receptions.
The Orangery

A Magical Day!
Amazing Venue, Staff and Coordinator!
The sun came out which made the orangery beautiful seeing it all lit up in natural light where all the guest couldn’t get over how special it was.
All the staff and our coordinator Lexie, just done amazing! They all had great communication to all my questions and queries, they always had time for me when I need any reassurance on all my planning even down to the smallest details. Nothing was ever missed.
Lexie my wedding coordinator was incredible before, during and after our wedding. Lexie was outstanding and everything for our day was crossed and dotted for every little detail and she actioned my 2 year vision perfectly!
Great venue for endless memories that was created in such a beautiful setting. 🤍

Special mention to Lexie for everything she did to make our wedding experience and wedding day so special and all guests mentioned how organised the day was and how helpful Lexie + other team members were. Lexie made us feel at ease the whole day and was always very friendly and helpful and we cannot thank her enough. If you are looking for a venue, please don’t think twice of booking this venue. The surrounding grounds are fantastic and some special places to capture memories (including the rowing boat which is a great idea). Look forward to coming back to the venue as a married couple to catch up with the friendly team!!

Thank you Lexie and all at the moat house.
We got married on 17th October 2025. Our wedding day was nothing short of amazing. From the breakfast in the library in the morning to the party on the evening everything was just prefect. The venue is just beautiful.
Lexie was absolutely amazing so lovely and helpful, nothing was too much for her, she works so hard, she’s none stop running round working and making sure everyone is ok, she was a pleasure to meet up with and plan for our wedding. She is a credit to the Moat house.
The food on the day was gorgeous so many of our guest raved about how lovely it was.
We had our ceremony in the orangey and it was just beautiful, I’m so glad we chose it.
Over all I can honestly say it was the best day of our lives and I would recommend the venue to anyone to have this place as their wedding.

Our wedding day in the summer was truly perfect, our wedding coordinator Emily was absolutely incredible from start to finish, and without her we really wouldn’t have all the special memories forever. She truly is the definition of above and beyond!
From making a buttonhole for our pageboy when his didn’t turn up, to ensuring a round of shots were delivered at the perfect time to the groom and groomsmen.
The day was so well organised and ran perfectly. The food was incredible and to this day we still have guests saying that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had!
We had the venue on exclusive hire and really recommend this, you can plan exactly what you like, when you like! Nothing was too much trouble and we felt super supported.
We would recommended the venue and team 100000% over!

Fantastic venue with the best team!
The communication on the run up to the wedding was great, they were so responsive to emails and accommodated all of our requests.
The food was incredible, all of our guests were blown away but the canapés, wedding breakfast and evening pizzas! Not to mention the full English breakfast!
We would 100% recommend the moat house as a wedding venue!
