So very special
We would like to thank the Mill House for making our daughter's wedding day so very special. We know how hard they must have worked and it all payed off. Everyone had nothing but compliments. We would like to thanks the chef for all the catering, it must be difficult to provide such an excellent spread for 100 guests. The food was hot for the main course and very well presented. The hog roast in the evening was great, we couldn't fault anything.

Just wanted to thank you to the Mill House for the fantasic day on Friday. It was very well organised & we didn't have to worry about a thing. a triumph of perfect service
When Sheila and I decided to look for a suitable venue for our wedding we considered quite a few different places – some grand some not so grand. From the outset the welcome you gave us stood out over and above anyone else. Perhaps it is because you run a family business or maybe you just “get it” but from the moment we met you we knew you two had what it took to make a success. Throughout the planning process your feedback was good and constructive but above all professional. When we had a small glitch towards the end and, indeed, on the day (guests arriving an hour earlier than expected) you took it in your stride and dealt with it perfectly. The day itself was a triumph of perfect service, very good food and attentive but not intrusive staff at all times. I would like to single Mark out for making a nervous groom’s life very easy with his reassurance and attention to detail. You will hopefully be pleased to hear that we have had many, many comments from our guests about how fantastic the venue was and how perfect the food and service was. In fact some family from Belgium are hoping to come and stay later in the year because they enjoyed themselves so much. In short we found nothing to criticize and everything to praise; you were an instrumental part in making our day perfect and we cannot thank you enough. FANTASTIC EVENT
We'd like to say a huge thank you to Mark & Kim, their staff and wedding suppliers for making our wedding day such a fantastic event. Thanks to their superb organisation the day went brilliantly and we have had many compliments from our guests. The food & drink were excellent with the fish & chips proving to be a popular choice. We have no hesitation in recommending the mill house to anyone who is looking for a perfect wedding venue.

Wedding April 2011
Kim and Mark at the Mill House hosted a faultless and perfect wedding for us yesterday. The Gardens, Marquee, House, Food and Service were all five stars. The DJ supplied was also brilliant. They are flexible with your requiremnts and taylor the service to your needs We would recommend anyone wanting a wedding location to have it here. Portions of food for your guests are MASSIVE, service by staff is brilliant and attention to detail is awesome.

The Hotel was stunning
We want to say a big thank you to the Mill House for making our wedding day so fantastic. We had the best day and this was achieved through all of their hard work. The whole day ran smoothly and if there were any glitches, we were not aware, which shows how professional they are. Everybody had nothing but praise for the guys there and thought the hotel was stunning. The food was excellent and all those that had it were very impressed by the Beef Wellington. We thank the chef and his team. A big thank you and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Perfect in every way
The day went better than expected and everyone had a great a time and were very complimentary about the venue, particularly, the family and friends that booked rooms, and also the evening buffet, people are still telling us now how much they enjoyed the Indian selection and the chicken satays! We only have good words to say about the Mill House

The perfect place for a wedding reception
We had our wedding reception here on 3rd July 2010. As we had a relatively small number of guests, we were in the function room, which was perfect. We had a wonderful day and felt extremely well looked after by all of the staff, from the moment the bridal party arrived, to when we all left the morning after. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, there was a fantastic atmosphere. All our guests felt very comfortable and at home, as do we each time we visit. As ever, the food was fantastic and we would also like to say a special thank you to the chef and his team for going to so much trouble to accommodate the bride's dairy and soya allergies in particular and for even making a special batch of allergy free bread. A special mention should also go to Mark for his patience and for his polite, pleasant and efficient. We felt able to relax safe in the knowledge that he had everything under control and that we could ask him anything. Kym and Jessica also were brilliant both in the planning stages and on the big day itself. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Mill House as a wedding recepyion venue, restaurant or hotel. Worth staying overnight for the bacon at breakfast alone! Paula & Derek Searle

Perfect
We got married here 18th September 2010 and our wedding day was simply perfect. We had so many comments about the food being fantastic, the best many had ever eaten at a wedding. Mark and his team are simply wonderful, so attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. My wife and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day. We could not fault anything throughout the entire preparation process and the day itself and we are so glad we picked the Mill House as our wedding venue and I have no doubt at all recommending it to anyone else, you won’t be disappointed.
