In the heart of Manchester’s thriving city centre, the beauty and grace of the grade II listed Midland hotel will add an elegant touch of glamour and individuality to your special day.  Oozing style throughout, one of the hardest decisions will be deciding on which spectacular backdrop to choose for your photographs.  Our hotel is steeped in history, and you too could become part of that.  An air of romance sweeps through the hotel, if Becks could woo Posh here look what we could do for you!

At The Midland we provide the perfect setting for your special day, from large celebrations up to 450 people, to small intimate gatherings, civil ceremonies and civil partnerships to working alongside specialist caterers.  We have 11 stunning suites to choose from depending on your needs and all our rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies. Our Wedding Co-ordinators will live and breathe your wedding with you, no matter how high your expectations we will exceed them.  Our eye for detail, professionalism and years of experience will ensure that this is the most memorable day for you and your guests.

As the music comes to an end and the evening draws to a close, don’t let the magic end there.  Our stunning suites offer the ultimate in luxury.  The king sized bed with plump pillows and comfy duvets, the fluffy robes to slip into after a soak in the bath, the spacious lounge and dining area to sit back and take the time to reflect on your magical day – we ensure that you have the perfect start to your married life.

Dear Nina, Thank you for your email. We had the most AMAZING DAY ! It was the happiest day of our lives and everything was superb from start to finish. The rooms looked absolutely amazing, the staff were all brilliant - especially Jamie and Antonia, as nothing was too much trouble. The whole operation went smoothly and Simon and I were made to feel like a king and queen. The food was fantastic, so please pass on our compliments to the kitchen staff. Many of our guests said it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to. Thank you so much for all your help. We truelly did have a magnificent wedding day and will cherish our memories for ever more. You have been an absolute star Nina, and you and the team and the hotel all helped to make our dream come true. Best Wishes,

This all started back in October when my now wife (Dawn) and I sat in the Octagon bar mulling over a wedding venue. Every member of staff that served us that day was utterly polite and helpful - we loved the building and we decided we wanted to be married there. Nina was a delight to work with from the start. Not only was she helpful with the practical elements of our day, she showed a genuine interest in what we wanted to do and covered off all the small details that are so easy to forget. The whole planning process with Nina has been stress free and really easy..... Yes, organising a wedding can be really easy. Every member of staff that worked the Saturday was amazing. Liam took control from the start. Liam made Dawn feel at ease instantly and ensured our wedding ceremony was flawless. Our wedding breakfast was impeccable - Antonia looked after us, paid us attention and ensured we had everything we needed. So many guests have said how beautiful that meal was which is a real credit to your chefs and kitchen staff. Our evening event went without a hitch. Yet again your staff provided a first class service and couldn't do enough for ours guests. The Stanley suite is a fabulous venue for a party.... Each and every one went above and beyond to make our day what it was. You have a beautiful building in a beautiful location but it would be nothing without the people in it. Nina, Liam, Jamie, Antonia, Colin & everyone else, thank you.... Thank you very much for everything. Oh and we'll be back in Octagon bar raising a glass sometime very soon.

The midland hotel had everything we needed staff were absolutely fantastic! The food was prefect nothing was too much trouble they had everything covered right down to the smallest detail. we had the entire day there it was prefect!SD

Hi Nina Nina the day went without a hitch and we had a truly wonderful day it was amazing. Our stay in the hotel over the weekend was the icing on the cake and once the wedding was over and we could relax a little bit then we really were able to appreciate the absolutely beautiful suite we were in All the staff from reception, porters, waiters, etc were wonderful, the food was amazing please pass on our compliments to the chef. All our guest commented on how well it had been organised and that they had enjoyed the food, the venue and the day. The room looked absolutely fabulous it really did. One of the things that struck me was how good the communication was throughout the course of the day. All the way through I/we were kept in the loop as to what was going on and we were asked for our decision on what happened at each step of the way. The staff really were great and if you could pass on our thanks to them we would really appreciate it. Lastly.....a HUGE HUGE thank you to you Nina...you were absolutely wonderful Thank you for being well everything really,...fantastic at your job, so organised, friendly, approachable, a great listener, having patience with us and all our plans and for being so supportive to Neil and I in the last few weeks leading up to the wedding. We truly appreciated all the hard work you put into making sure that our day went off without a hitch and was special to us. Hi Nina A BIG BIG THANK YOU. We had a fabulous day at The Midland on 6th July. Thank you so much for all your hard work. Every thing the Midland provided was excellent, we loved every minute of it. Please thank James our Master of Ceremonies, he was very calming. All the bar staff and head bar man and all on reception. (Mike) were just brilliant. Ray the concerige was delightful. Please thank Lol my perfect pianist. All in all, we couldn't have had a better wedding, a fabulous venue, or nicer, more helpful staff. Everything was excellent, and guests loved it. Hi Nina I cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work in helping to arrange our wedding. You were dedicated, smiley, calm, organised and enthusiastic throughout. It was wonderful to have you at then end of the phone anytime with any query small or large. You were fantastic at always replying and answering queries. I am so glad that we chose The Midland Hotel to host our wedding reception. The hotel staff exceeded our expectations, they were always willing to go above & beyond to help us with anything. The Midland Hotel & its staff are a credit to Q Hotels & I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them Nina was absolutely fantastic. She looked after us for approximately 10 months up to the wedding. She regularly kept in touch & offered so much advice, she obviously has a lot of experience with weddings. I always knew where I was up to & what was next on my to do list. The event sheet was really well organised. Nina arranged the final meeting earlier for us to reassure me. She couldn't do enough to help us & is a credit to the team. Upon arriving at the midland for the wedding reception, my husband & I were greeted on a red carpet by the Master of ceremonies & 2 glasses of champagne. Julie looked after us for the evening of the event. She introduced herself to us at the beginning and checked in with us regularly throughout the evening. All the staff were really well organised & were very friendly. Everything ran like clockwork If there was ever anything that we needed either on the run up to the wedding or on the wedding day. The staff couldnt do enough to help us, Everybody was lovely! People were very smiley & approachable, extremely attentive
