It’s really important to mention we had a rocky start - because it really highlights the amazing work some individuals did to make the day the best of our lives.
Kirsty Howes - what can I say other than, just amazing! After booking the wedding back in 2020, we did have a rocky start (NOT with Kirsty I must mention) there was a miscommunication and people leaving and taking over which caused a lot of confusion.
We had a meeting one day which hadn’t been put in the diary - Kirsty, I saw in the distance (who had nothing to do with the wedding or anything may I add) had her coat on and was about to leave after probably a very long day. Took her coat off, came over to us with a big smile on her face and an extremely positive attitude towards us(considering we probably just bombarded her evening) and completely took over. From the moment we sat with Kirsty - everything and I mean everything was plain sailing. Nothing at all was too big or too small, she went above and beyond to make everything better for us - and she did just that! Professional, Friendly, approachable, happy to help, extremely prompt and quick response - even if the answer wasn’t there straight away she would keep me up to date - which as a ‘bride to be’ is all you want! She made every effort to communicate and be there for me on the day - I truly believe without Kirsty we wouldn’t have had the day we had planned!
Next up is Franco - well Franco, our master of ceremonies - what an absolute delight of a Gentleman. He was funny, charming, calming, always on hand, prompt and it was categorically evident his 30 years experience in the industry has, in my opinion made him one of the best. He was there every step of the way, every minute of the day!
Zoe - Thank you so much for all of your help and support throughout the day and the evening, you were there on hand and always visible to help with any needs we had!Jordan - the gentleman who was on reception the night before when I checked in and the morning after the wedding when I checked out. He was brilliant - his smile beamed at us when we walked in, he made a conscious effort to laugh with us and made our time at reception as easy and smooth as possible - which is all you want when checking in and out of a hotel!

The whole catering team are an absolute credit to the hotel “That’s the best food I have ever eaten at a wedding” is the only comments we have received from the guests. The food was hot, tasty, not too much but just enough, there was not one complaint or one fault I could say.

Ever single guest we have spoken to so far has said “That is the best wedding I have ever been too” as a bride and groom you can only hope that is how your guests feel when planning your wedding, but to receive those comments is a real reflection on all the hard work that went into the planning and execution of the most important day in our lives.

The venue is gorgeous, we hired the spinnaker suite which over looks the water. Its a great size e room for the 64 guests we had.
Things that were great:
-The food was wonderful
-The events staff were very helpful and friendly
-They provide you with regular meetings to go through every detail & advise you throughout.
-The bar area is lovely inbetween setting up the room for different events.
-The DJ included in the package was brilliant, we gave him requests beforehand which he actually played and let guests make requests too.
- the packages are brilliant value
- free menu tasting included which was lovely
-The newly refurbished rooms are great book them direct through the hotel and you get freebies in your room & new rooms, rooms from secret escapes and booking.com were the old ones with no muffins which is why they were much cheaper.

things I would change:
- I would use a decoration hire company and florist that come and set up and take away too save your effort and so the staff have more time to do what they need to. We did our own flowers and decor for the top table which took up a lot of time for set up.

I had my wedding in the Spinnaker room of the hotel. I had the most special day and I would definitely recommend hiring the hotel to celebrate your wedding. Special thanks has to go to Toni in the Events team and Amber who was our master of ceremonies for the day. Both Toni and Amber looked after us and I am so pleased with the service we received from them. A real special thank you must be given to Amber. Our day ran like clockwork and and this was down to her! The food was stunning and lots of my guests commented on the high quality of the food. The resident DJ was great too. Perfect day so thank you all.

Langstone Quay made or wedding so completely personal and magical. They made both myself and my husband feel that we were the most important people there. The staff were before helpful and on the actual day made everything run so smoothly so that we didnt have to worry about a thing.

We had an amazing time, and everyone commented on how lovely the venue was and how well the day flowed. All the staff really went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of.

I would highly recommend The Langstone Hotel to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding. You guys do an amazing job and I wouldn't have changed a thing.

We just wanted to thank you for everything you and the team did to make our wedding day special and going without a hitch!!
It was brilliant from start to finish. and we couldn't have asked for it to be more perfect. Franco was marvelous, he looked after us so well and was a massive help, advising us on certain things and making sure Phil had plenty of coffee to keep him going. He is an asset to the Langstone. Thank you to the chef and his team, the food was gorgeous and the chocolate orange dessert was a winner but managed to beat most people!! Ha Ha
Lastly, can you thank Gary the DJ for us, he kept us all on the dance floor all night and played a really good variety of music.

We had a fantastic day and would recommend The Langstone to anyone looking to celebrate their wedding there.

Thank you for a fantastic day. Everyone had a great time and said its the best wedding they've ever been to because it was so relaxed and fun. Can I say a big thank you to you and your colleagues for all your work to make Amy and Darren's wedding the success it was. The day went better than we could have hoped for and the two rooms looked fantastic. Your wedding coordination was brilliant and shows why you are so good at your job.

A thank you also to the young lady who served at the conservatory bar in the evening. She worked tirelessly keeping lots of customers topped up with drinks.
