Christchurch quay is just a short stroll from the hotel, offering wonderful panoramic views amongst the many yachts visiting or moored at this beautiful natural Harbour. Local chef Alex Aitken who for many years as won culinary awards and Michelin Stars in the New Forest will create a personal menu for your day. Chef Alex has created and cooked for many great weddings including Sophie Dahl and Jamie Cullen. Whether quirky funky unusual food or gastronomic dinners, we at Kings can create your wedding your way. 

NEW FOR SPRING 2013 - THE PAVILION

Spring 2013 will witness the introduction of a new ceremony venue, to accommodate the ever growing number of weddings, as the old bowling pavilion is transformed in to a beautiful “New England” style venue.

The Pavilion will be able to host marriage ceremonies for up to 80 guests and will be one of the most unique wedding venues on the South Coast. Take photos on the Bowling Green, enjoy canapés by the water’s edge and then head over to the Kings Priory for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations, or down to the Christchurch Harbour Hotel. Works will commence in the early part of the year and we will be able to host our first wedding in the spring.

WEDDING OPENING DAY - Sunday 21st April 11am - 3.30pm

Experienced and friendly co-ordinators on hand to personally discuss your wedding plans. It is complimentary entry throughout the evening, there is no need to book so just pop in and join us for a glass of Fizz and view our beautiful venue.

      Beautiful hotel and great central location
      We were the first couple to have our wedding reception at the hotel's priory suite. The self contained suite is decorated neutrally and to a high standard and the service at the hotel was excellent. The food was perfect, and the hotel accomodation has a lovely boutique feel. The hotel is in arguably the best part of Christchurch with viewd of the Priory Church and the Constable House ruins and the river. We had around 90 guests and it was a little snug so it would probably better suite a wedding of around 85 guests. The priory suite is split into two levels and largely seperate from the main hotel. The benefit of this is that you have the two levels for the wedding party alone without interuption from other hotel guests. We would certainly recommend the Kings Hotel to other couples.

      Beautifully Romantic!
      We had the best day celebrating oru friends wedding at this hotel. It is has fantastic location opposite the Priory, next to the river and it even has a bowling green where we have our reception drinks and canapes before being shown through to the private dining room for the wedding breakfast. The room was set beautifully and the staff are very friendly and offer attentive service. There is a good bar in the hotel and the food was absolutely delicious. We celebrated all night and had the best time ever. We even managed to book at room in the hotel for the night. The rooms are very modern and well equiped with gorgeous bathrooms. We will definitley be back!
