The Heath House

Staffordshire's premier wedding venue, The Heath House provides a magnificent country house venue for weddings, civil ceremonies and receptions.

The Heath House is an imposing Grade II* listed Victorian Gothic Mansion House set within extensive grounds in rolling Staffordshire countryside.  Secluded and unspoilt this spectacular house and its grounds provide an elegant venue.  Total privacy, a relaxed atmosphere and all the individual touches will make your day extra special.  Our luxurious location provides an excellent backdrop for your photographs and celebrations.  

The sumptuous Drawing Room can seat up to 70 guests for the civil ceremony and for larger numbers the adjoining Library can be used to seat an additional 20~30 guests. If an outdoor wedding is your idea of romance, our Orangery provides a heavenly setting with guests seated on the lawn.

For winter weddings, roaring log fires and glittering chandeliers make The Heath House an oasis of warmth and light on the bleakest of winter’s days. If the weather is very cold the beautiful interiors of the house are ideal for wedding photography, especially the ‘Grand Staircase.’ 

Our comprehensive wedding and civil partnership packages include a dedicated wedding planning team who will greet you on your first visit to the house, show you around the property and gardens, discuss your individual requirements, ensure all the preparations are handled smoothly, and be on hand throughout your special day.

      Our Day
      We were married at Heath House last September and we had the most enjoyable day. we would like to thank Michelle & Ben for all of their help and support throughout the planning and Martin (the worlds best bar man & night porter) for being so fabulous and looking after us overnight. Cannot fault the venue or the staff. Thanks so much!

      Great day!
      This is just a very quick note before we head off on honeymoon to say thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day so perfect. You we're a pleasure to deal with and I really don't think we could have found a venue that would have even come close to bettering Heath House, the whole thing was amazing. I think our favourite part was probably the drinks reception with the sun, the band, people wondering around the gardens and playing croquet on the lawn - it was just perfect!       Our wedding day!
      The BIGGEST thanks to Heath House, our wedding day went perfectly. Michelle you were our angel and we dont know what we would have done without you, you worked so hard to make our day a dream come true and throughout all the stresses (because i am a total stress head)you remained calm and happy go lucky. I will never be able to thank you enough for having a tissue to hand and a big smile for me as I was walking in to the ceremony room (that could have been a make up no no!! ha ha). Thanks also to Ben (the owner), you are a REAL gent and I hope that you and Michelle make Heath House a roaring success as a wedding venue!!

      A great venue!
      I attended a wedding at this venue a few weeks ago and it really is the most stunning venue I and my husband have ever been to. It did not matter which direction we looked in there was a perfect view everywhere. The house itself is kept in great condition by the staff and owners. It is a lovely place for a wedding (just wish we had known about it when we got married).

      Wonderful!
      I went to see The Heath House last week on one of their historic tours. My son has recently got engaged and I went home after seeing it and told him all about it, it really is such a wonderful venue and the grounds and gardens a stunning. We are seeing it with him again next weekend in the hope he will book it!

      Warm & So friendly
      I agree with Emily. If you want a great service from a venue.....book Heath House. I went to see so many venues before walking through their door no other venue was as warm and friendly as this one. Genuinely nice people with the most stunning venue. Book it you wont regret it!!

      It is stunning
      I had no idea that this venue existed until i saw advert for the wedding fayre. I went along and it is everything i have ever wanted. The staff were really helpful and the free canapes we yummy. I AM BOOKING!

      Lan and I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful day during our wedding at Heath House. The venue looked amazing and we had a lot of positive comments from the guests. Also the bar/catering staff were excellent, and all the guests loved the drinks and canapes. Thank you to the whole team for this. Our thanks also to Ben who helped out and was always very pleasant to deal with. Emma and Michelle, you both did a great job.
