The Hare and Hounds Hotel, built in honey-coloured Cotswold stone, sits in a romantic garden setting.

Whether you prefer a small, intimate gathering of friends and family, or a traditional ‘Big White Wedding’, The Hare and Hounds will provide warm and friendly service, and the magical ambience that such a special day deserves.

The Hotel boasts 43 guest rooms. The charmingly refurbished bedrooms in the Main House, Garden Cottage and Coach House blend happily with the sophisticated and stylish rooms and suites of Silkwood Court.

Four areas of the Hotel are licensed for Civil Ceremonies, the largest accommodating up to 120 guests for both Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast.  Evening events are offered for up to 150 people.

For the all-important Wedding Breakfast, often a highlight for your guests, we offer you our very best in food, wine and friendly service.  We have a wide variety of dishes on each menu for you to choose from, but our Chef is happy to tailor a menu especially for you.  We can also arrange a complimentary tasting of your final menu - all part of the wonderful anticipation.

Romantic, stone cottage retreat, adjacent to the main hotel. Your own secluded garden with private hot tub.

      The weekend was superb
      A big thank you for organising the wedding so well. The weekend was superb and enjoyed by everyone. We thought all the staff were really pleasant, friendly and efficient. A big thank you also to the chef and kitchen staff. The food was first rate. Sirdar also was so helpful and thoughtful.

      I will definitely be recommending the Hare and Hounds Hotel as a wedding venue and a place to escape from daily life. They certainly went above and beyond to make our wedding as memorable as possible. We will be returning to the hotel to celebrate our first wedding anniversary next year if we do not stay before.

      Such a wonderful reception at the Hare and Hounds Hotel on Saturday 11th June 2011. It was wonderful from beginning to end and absolutely everything was spot on at the front of house.       Most perfect and so memorable
      We got married at the Hare and Hounds hotel on March 26th 2011. Thank you so much for making our day the most perfect and so memorable.
