Couldnt have asked for more
Matt and I (and our guests!) felt that everything went brilliantly and we really couldn't have asked for more! The Gun looked amazing and everything ran so smoothly. We've no doubt that this is in large part down to you and your meticulous planning that you seem to do with such ease (if only I could have got you to plan the rest of our wedding!!). We really, really appreciate how efficient, helfpul and friendly all the staff were, but particularly you - thank you.

The best day of our lives!
First of all we thoroughly enjoyed the day and will remember it as the best day of our lives for ever. We thought the professional, friendly and helpful approach specifically by you (and your predecessor Lisa) in the organisation and run up to the wedding was excellent. You always offerred good ideas but left it upto us to make our own mind up and you were very flexible and catering to our decisions. We throughly trusted your capabilities and that you'll do your upmost to help make the day geat. On the 18th, the staff were all very well briefed, and helpful and did everything we could have asked for. The food was excellent [as we previously experienced on the very enjoyable menu tasting evening!], but all of our guest were amazed by the quality of the food and wine, especially the Beef Wellington. A lot of people said that it was the best wedding food that they've ever had, which says a lot given the amount of foodies in attendence! so a special thanks and well done to the chefs. All together, despite our late arrival and slipping schedule through uncontrollable circumstances, we couldn't have asked for a better expereience. Everything went as well as we had hoped for. So a very big thanks to you and the managers, and all the staff. We will definately recommend the Gun as a wedding venue to friends. And of course, we will visit regularly to sample the fine menu (inc the crumble) and to rekindle all the wonderful memories of our day!

Cannot recommend enough
We held our wedding reception at The Gun in August 2010 and literally could not have been happier! From our very first meeting, right up until the end of the night, Vanessa, Steven and their team of fantastic staff could not have been more accomodating and helpful. The decorations were beautiful, the service was immaculate (I don't think anyone had to stray more than a foot to get a drink all night!) and the food was incredible - we went for canapes and warned people there would only be light nibbles, but not only were they absolutely delicious but also large enough to satisfy even the hungriest of stomachs. Thank you you so much for making our day so special!!!

First class!
We had our wedding lunch at the Gun: staff, food and location are first-class. Lisa helped us with the menu, the flowers and answered every little question. We would definitely recommend it!

Perfect!
With regards to wedding there is just one thing to say, it was perfect, everything was as we wanted. Everyone has loved the place, the attention, it was really good the customer service and the food and I think we did choose a good option. you and the manger at that night were really nice and Jessica I can say from the beginning aswering all my question helped a lot. Thank you for making all the lunch arrangements for us. You did a marvellous job - we enjoyed ourselves, our guests did too and even the children. The room set up and decor were great, food was excellent, the service was good - and of course, the view was absolutely lovely! Thank you the most, for persuading your boss to let us have the River Room for our occasion - it was definitely a winner!! Everything about our reception at The Gun was amazing. From the time that we contacted them, the events team were wonderfully supportive, professional and full of suggestions and good ideas. Every enquiry was replied to promptly and they were very flexible and knwledgable in helping us to plan the wedding that we wanted. The professionalism of the events team meant that we felt able to trust them totslly with the organisation and didn't feel stressed at all. On the day everything was perfect. The venue is amazing, food delicious and the service exceptional. All our guests commented on how brilliant the service was and on the friendliness of the staff. It was exactly what we wanted and we would highly recommend it to anyone looing for a wedding reception venue.

faultless service in a great historic venue
The wedding reception went so smoothly as everything was taken care of with ease and grace. Wonderful historic venue next to the Thames opposite the O2 Arenawhich has a number of reception rooms and open air sitouteries to cater for all eventualities Delicious hot food served with style and promptness.Enormously helpful with the wedding cake which did collapse a bit! Big beautiful flowers around and polite helpful staff everywhere I cannot fault it

Magical!!!
A big thank you to all the staff at The Gun who made our day so special! This is a fantastic venue full of history and a fantastic riverside terrace where you can enjoy champagne and canapes before you sit down for the "feast" a head.only way to describe it!! The Gun really takes pride in making your day special from menu tastings with the head chef and one of the owners helping you find the perfect wine to match!!! Where else do you get that...
