The Freemasons' Hall, is situated in the heart of the City of Manchester and the hall has one of the finest collections of banqueting and conference suites that the city is able to offer. Freemasons Hall is a grade 2 listed building, elegantly furnished and gives the impression of a stately home.The building is within easy reach of mainline rail networks and there are ample parking facilities in nearby carparks.We have a civil wedding licence and ceremonies are held in the Main Hall and can seat up to 200 guests.There are two main suites available which can cater for wedding receptions, these being the Derby Suite and the Goulburn Suite.We also have smaller more intimate suites available.
Wedding package brochures are available on request.We are able to cater for both Asian and Jewish weddings, if any catering is prepared elsewhere for the above mentioned types of wedding then the preparation and food must comply with the rules of hygiene.

We had the most wonderful day, thank you.We would just like to thank you for making our very special day go without a hitch. Everybody commented on how lovely the venue was and how great the food. We had the most wonderful wedding day and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you.

Magnificent effort afforded by all.I am extremely delighted with the magnificent effort afforded by all your staff to make my daughter''s wedding day totally perfect. The Memorial Hall looked absolutely sensational on our arrival and most guests who had never previously visited were more than impressed by it''s ambience. This was a wonderful start to what turned out to be a fairytale wedding day. The drinks reception was held in the Brian Clark dining room and when the guests were called into the actual wedding breakfast they were totally astounded by the table layout and floral decorations. The meal was cooked beautifully and the serving staff were exceptional. The evening party was held in the Derby Suite and all the hundred plus guests were afforded a lovely buffet and the bar staff were extremely courteous and efficient all through the proceedings. I would personally like to thank Jon Fryer for all his help and guidance prior to the event and also for his support on the day. Already the feedback from the guests is fabulous and I would like to take the opportunity of thanking you and all the staff for making my daughter''s day so perfect.

An extremely special & memorable occasionA very heartfelt THANK YOU for making Hazel & Dave Wadeson''s wedding an extremely special & memorable occasion . What a hidden gem you have there and I hope it will continue in the future. The welcome we received and the service was second to none I would heve no hesitation in recommending your venue to other''s considering a wedding or other functions. The food was excellent in both the main meal & the buffet and plenty for even those who wanted more!! Once again THANK YOU to you all it was a wonderful day.

Fantastic hidden gem in Manchester city centreI would like to thank Della and her team for making our wedding day so amazing. This is a stunning venue and the food and staff are amazing. Everyone has commented on how beautiful the venue is and how good the food was. A big thanks to John on the evening for helping us to usher people around and being our toastmaster and putting us so at ease.

Fantastic venueThe Freemason's Hall was the venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. It is such an unusual and striking venue - the Memorial Hall is spectacular. Everyone commented on what a fantastic venue it was - particularly as we had the run of the place which is real luxury these days. The staff, food and organisation were extremely good. My only comment would be that there could have been more of a front of house presence to liaise with the Bride, groom and Best Man/MC but othere than that it was absolutely excellent.

Perfect - Saturday 1st September 07A big thankyou to Della and her team for a wonderful wedding day. Keith and I and all of our family and friends had a perfect day. The food was superb and the attention to detail was outstanding. This venue is a hidden gem and I urge any prospective bride and grooms to go and visit because you will be blown away.
