Stress Free Wedding!
My daughter got married at Delfina in September 2011 and I can honestly say the run-up to the wedding was completely stress free thanks to Sophie, the events manager, who was extremely helpful. She made useful suggestions and even the most unusual request presented no problem. The evening of the wedding went without a hitch. The food was superb and there was no compromise with the vegetarian dish which was equally as delicious and interesting as the non-veg. More than one guest said it was the best wedding food they’d had! The staff on the night were excellent and the surroundings and beautiful lighting created a perfect ambience for the guests to feel relaxed and enjoy themselves.

Perfect in every way
We had our civil partnership ceremony and reception at Delfina a couple of weeks ago. The venue was stunning, the service amazing, the food gorgeous and Sophie and her team wonderful. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough. It was perfect, and Sophie worked with us throughout the planning to help us create the event we wanted. The flexibility of Delfina, and the team's openness to ideas is yet another strong point. I'm not sure you could have topped the day they helped us to create.

Perfect!
We had a wonderful, glitzy, glamorous civil partnership party at Delfina in September 2010. Sophie and her team saw to it that our night was perfect. We were hugely impressed by the care and attention to detail that went into everything from the lighting to the music to the colour co-ordination of the cushions in the bar area! The food was delicious, the welcome warm and we cannot recommend Delfina highly enough.

In a word, wonderful
We had a wedding with 100 guests in December 2010 at Delfina. The level of service of all of the staff from start to finsh was outstanding on the day, and the venue was very helpful in meeting all of our requests. Our day felt special, personal and stress free thanks to the attentive wedding organiser. All of our guests commented on what a different and special venue Delfina was and how great the food and service was and if I could do it all again I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Delfina for our perfect day!

Superb venue with a fantastic team of staff
We had our big day in May 2010. It was an absolutely fantastic day! The venue is lovely with high ceilings, lots of natural daylight, and a blank canvas for you to decorate as much or as little as you want. Sophie is brilliant organiser and gave us some great ideas and suggestions. She was always on hand to help from start to finish. The entire Delfina team were excellent and made all our guests feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. If you’re foodies like us then The Delfina does not disappoint. They delivered on an Indian fusion menu by bringing in Indian chefs to work with the Delfina chefs. The dishes were exceptional and they exceeded all our expectations. The urban garden is super cool especially if you get lucky as we did with a warm sunny day. Perfect for champagne and canapés. I highly recommend the Delfina for any event!

London wedding with style
We couldn’t have hoped for a better venue for our September wedding. We wanted somewhere sleek and stylish but with a relaxed vibe and Delfina delivered on every front. The venue was beautiful – it’s white walls and open space meant you could decorate it as little or as much as you wanted, but we felt its simplicity was the wow factor. The urban garden was perfect for late summer, and it really gave the day a party feel. Sophie and her team couldn’t have been more helpful – in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. They made our guests feel so welcome and the day run so smoothly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible, part of the reason we chose the venue is because we’d eaten there before and didn’t want bog standard wedding food. All our guests commented how delicious their meal was. The venue totally lived up to its expectations. It also introduced our friends and family to Bermondsey street which they all loved (and we got some great wedding pics taken down the road). We have so many happy memories of Delfina, and would defiantly recommend it as a wedding venue.

An amazing venue with great staff
With the help of Sophie we managed to arrange a wedding with 120 guests in 3 months. Delfina was the perfect venue for our London wedding and as everyone has mentioned below the staff were amazing. There is something very reassuring about the venue from the capacble event co-ordination to the lovely security staff and we were able to relax and enjoy the day. Sophie helped us to work within our budget and gave us lots of advice. Many guests have told us that the wedding was one of the best they have been to and we really can't thank Sophie enough!

Superb and trendy urban venue with fantastic food and service
Just celebrated our wedding here and could not be happier with our choice of venue which is spacious but still very intimate. Even better are the staff led by the amazing Sophie who were completely professional and for whom nothing was ever too much trouble. The food is also truly delicious and definitely not your typical wedding fare. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic venue.
Great location, great venue. Can''t say enough good things about the staff, particularly the help we got planning and organising from Sophie. Everything was as we hoped on our big day - the perfect start to married life.

Perfect London venue with heaps of style and wow factor
Picking Delfina was the best decision we could have made for a London wedding. The events manager Sophie is an absolute star - totally professional, really friendly and on the ball with every tiny detail, from the ribbons on the napkins on the tables, coordinating the lighting, the florists, caterers and entertainment to just being there for last minute panics. Delfina is a wonderful building in itself a converted chocolate factory, all white walls, wood floors and brick exterior and it can be used as a blank canvas which, with lighting, flowers and a beautiful pink carpet on the courtyard out to the right, was transformed on our wedding day into a fab wonderland - guests told us it was like walking into a beautiful, glam sweet shop - exactly the look we''d have wished for if I could have summed it up in those words! Delfina is perfect for anyone wanting to stamp their own style on to the venue, in a street that really shouts ''London''. Music allowance, bar and late-ish license were all spot-on and it''s so hard to get a lateish license to keep the party going in London, would you believe?. Highly highly recommended - we couldn''t have wished for anything better and all our guests have gone on for months about how wonderful it all was.

The most wonderful venue and team
We had an outstanding and beautiful wedding at Delfina. Sophie and her team were supportive, professional, helpful, and hands on. We enjoyed every minute of our day and evening, as we were able to completely relax, knowing we were in the most capable hands possible. The food was fantastic, the decor and space worked brilliantly. The attention to detail was second to none. Our guests have lavished praises on what so many of them have called 'the best wedding they have ever been to' that was in no small part due to the wonderful team at Delfina. The combination of the blank canvas venue and fantastic staff made this the perfect place to get married
We got married at Delfina a year ago and the staff and venue combined made our wedding day and the lead up to it perfect and relaxed. As soon as we walked in we fell in love with the high ceilings and stunning art adorning the walls. The staff did everything they could to ensure we were at ease and went out of their way to make sure that all our friends and family, as well as my husband and I had everything that was needed on the day. As Delfina is also a restaurant the food was fantastic which is usually a feat for 120 people but Delfina pulled this off effortlessly and at a reasonable price. We're so grateful to everyone there, namely Sophie, Alison and Maria. A definite must if you’re thinking about this venue.
