The Dairy, only one hour from London, is a private building set within the immaculate grounds of the Waddesdon Estate. Originally built in the early 1900’s by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild to house his prize-winning herds, the Dairy has been sympathetically restored and provides an idyllic setting for weddings. Civil ceremonies can take place in either the glazed classical Wintergarden, the West Hall with its huge open fire places, or for smaller numbers, outside under the pavilions overlooking the Lake and Watergardens. Clients have exclusive use of the building and grounds, complete privacy is ensured. All menus are individually tailored to each client’s needs. The chefs are experienced in producing many different styles of food, from summer barbecues on the terrace, to formal five course dinners in the West Hall. Our experienced staff assist in the planning of your wedding from first enquiries, through to organising the last detail and supporting you on the day.

      The perfect venue with the perfect service
      You cannot beat The Dairy at Waddesdon as a wedding venue. The venue is excellent whether you are having a summer wedding or a winter wedding. The staff are also wonderful, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. You will not get better food at a wedding either! Highly recommended - wish we could have our wedding all over again this Christmas!!

      Best day of our lives
      This was the best day of our lives and the venue and staff were all truly amazing. The food is also fabulous. Really can't recommend The Dairy enough.

      Our Wedding at the Dairy
      Perfect location for our special day. Getting married outside and having a civil ceremony was on the top of our list and to beable to ddo so in such a lovely setting. knowing we had an inside option should it rain was also really reassuring. Every one of our guests has commented on how lovely the setting was and what amazing food they had and we agree it sure was! The whole day and lead up to the day was so well organised by the staff at the Dairy Matt and I didn't have to worry about a thing. We wish we could re live the day again!

      A fantastic private wedding venue
      My friends and family had a wonderful day and night at the Dairy. All the staff were friendly and the wedding co-ordinator Claire was amazing. For myself and James my husband, it was a very special day.

      If I could rate this venue higher I would.
      Our Special Wedding Day 27th Feb 2010 We had the most special day and a lot of thanks goes to The Dairy for making it so special. Our friends still talk about it as the best Wedding they have ever been to. The marriage service was really personal and after that the food was exceptional which is what my wife really wanted. The Silver Service was amazing, you hardly noticed your plate being removed as it was done in a synchronised motion which was classy. The approved DJ made the night so great for our evening guests to arrive and get straight into it. We also used Stuart Bebb who was one of the approved photographers and the whole experience was exactly what we wanted with a mixture of contemporary and reportage photos.       Intimate venue for elegant exclusive weddding
      Our experience with Waddesdon Dairy could not have been better. The venue was universally praised by our guests and our interaction as clients was faultless from start to finish. The fact that it's a venue you can use all day with no one else around is a huge benefit. The venue is versatile for competing guest demands and looks amazing when prepared for the wedding day. Local accomodation is one issue but we stayed in the Old Bank in Oxford and made a weekend of it.

      Breathtaking venue!
      The Dairy at Waddesdon Manor was the first venue we visited and we fell in love with it instantly! The venue is beautiful and we had so many wonderful comments from our guests that they had never seen anything like it. The staff at the venue are brilliant from the start of planning through to the day itself. We felt totally at ease that everything would go as planned. The food and wine was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Overall, we were thrilled with our choice and would not hesitate to recommend the Dairy.

      Absolutely stunning
      I had seen a few venues beofre visiting the Dairy and was thinking 'Yes, I suppose I could make these places work...'. As soon as I arrived at the Dairy all the other places went out of the window. It is stunning. Immaculately maintained gardens and buildings, wonderful friendly and professional staff, stunning lake and surroundings, I immediately felt comfortable there. All our guests commented on what a beautiful venue it was, and even though the staff were of the highest standard it didn't feel too formal or intimidating. The food and wine were incredible. I have no doubt the venue made our wedding the success it was and I still think about it now and would love to revisit!

      Perfection
      The venue, staff, location of The Dairy is absolutely amazing. Our Wedding day was such a magical day, helped by the staff being friendly, accommodating, and efficient. We had two people turn up unexpectedly for dinner, no fuss was made, another place was made up at the tables. We had lots of complementary comments the next day and put on Facebook. A lot of people said it was the best Wedding they had ever been to and were ever likely to attend! I have to say that the food was amazing, and the service was outstanding. The grounds are beautiful, we have so many gorgeous photos of around the Dairy and in the gardens at the back and also at Waddesdon Mannor. 14 months on and we are expecting our first child in 6 weeks! We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at The Dairy that helped make our Wedding day such a memorable one! Kindest Regards Mr & Mrs Andrews

      Service, location and food all excellent
      The food was amazing, we had so many comments from all our guests about it. The location is stunningly beautiful, we have some fantastic photos and the staff were brilliant, especially Claire Wedding Co-Ordinator and Marco Berrini Banqueting Manager. Thank you all for a very memorable day.

      The most perfect wedding venue
      We got married here on 3rd Aug 2008, and I have to say The Dairy is without doubt one of the most beautiful wedding venues I've ever seen- the location, buildings, gardens are all stunning. The staff were absolutely brilliant and made sure everything was perfect. I cannot recommend it highly enough

      It was the best day of our lives
      From start to finish the whole day was like a dream. The staff at The Diary were so professional and kind and left nothing to chance. In some ways I wish I could do it all over again!
