Perfect Romantic Wedding Location
We got married at the Craiglands Hotel on 5th September 2009, it was such a perfect day. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with a lovely garden. Jodie (Wedding Co-ordinator) is fantastic. She is full of ideas and is always happy to assist with anything. She dealt with a few of my bridezilla moments very well!! Our wedding reception was held in The Restuarant room and the tables were set up beautifully. The food was amazing and all our guests seemed to enjoy it. One of our guests even had two desserts! Also the Honeymoon Suite is lovely, with a massive bed! Also the bath is more than big enough for two! We couldn't have chosen a better venue with better staff!

The perfect setting for our special day.
The Craiglands Hotel was the perfect venue for our special day. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff- they were great. From the minute we first met with Jodie and the team we planned a special day that met our personal needs and tastes and we were never made to feel that we had to stick to a standard formula. We had mulled wine and lots of candles as requested; the hotel was great for photos and we went up to the ‘Cow and Calf’ for photos too. The entertainment was great and most of our guests stayed over at the hotel which was really convenient. Excellent service and a perfect day.

Our dream wedding
Jodie and the rest of the team at the Craiglands were friendly and very professional right through the planning process and up to and during the big day. They put our minds at rest and exceeded all expectations, it really was a perfect day! Friendly staff made us feel very special and they listened to and responded to all our questions and requests. Everyone commented on the delicious food which all 150 guests enjoyed! The bridal suite is fantastic, the ballroom is beautiful and we had a day we, and our guests, will never forget, for all the right reasons!

The Perfect Venue
We decided to have our wedding reception at the Craiglands and from the moment we booked we were treated like royalty! Jodie the wedding co-ordinator catered for our every need and our whole family was looked after very well. Even though the weather was terrible, we had all our photos inside and even managed the ''confetti shot''! It really was the perfect venue. The Bridal Suite was beautiful, the food fantastic and the room where the resception was held The Restaurant looked fabulous. The red carpet on the way into the hotel was a lovely touch and my day was completely stress-free...thanks to Jodie and her team!

Beautiful venue, exceptional staff, great value
We got married at the Craiglands on the 28th August 2009 and we cannot recommend it enough. There are three rooms which can cater for any size of wedding. We were married in the restaurant which was perfect for our 120 day guests. The room looked beautiful for the day and with each room having its own separate bar the venues are private. The bedrooms and suites are also beautifully turned out the honeymoon suite was excellent, and great value. The food at the Craiglands is absolutely top class for both the day and evening receptions. The menus are varied and can be mixed if necessary, also the hotel’s policy of no obligatory evening buffet means that it is easy to stick to any budget. We had many guests with special dietary requirements and we also had loads of changes to the guest list, even at very late notice, but this never seemed to faze any of the staff. This brings me to the best thing about the Craiglands, the staff. Absolutely all the staff are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them and you really feel like it’s your day and you can literally do what you like within reason!!! The wedding coordinator, Jodie, and the management bent over backwards to make our day exactly as we wanted it. I could go on and on about how great our day was but I think you get the picture! Choosing the Craiglands was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we wouldn’t change a thing.

An amazing wedding venue.
We got married at Craiglands on 30/08/09 and had an amazing day. From when we first went to look at the venue the staff were so helpful and assisted us in planning the perfect day every step of the way. On the day everything was perfect -and trust me I''d given them plenty to do! The food was gorgeous and they took on board our personal requests, the service was great and our guests had the best time! We can not thank everyone there enough for what they did for us, helping us to make our dream become a reality - we still talk about our wedding all the time and are so glad we chose the Craiglands, we would give it 5 stars.

An amazing day, always to be remembered.
It was lovely to be able to leave the organisation on the day to the Craiglands team. Nothing was too much for them. The table settings and flowers were perfect. Everything went like clockwork and we didn''t have to worry about a thing. Thank you Craiglands.

Fantastic Yorkshire setting
We got married in Nov 2008 and had a fantastic day courtesy of the Craiglands Hotel and all their staff. The whole day was made very easy to organise thanks to their helpful approach. For several weeks prior to the event we had changed our minds and altered things, but this never posed any problems for them. Even on the day itself, no request was too much effort. This included changing the time for food and moving the 33Kg cake!! Jodie and the team always gave you the feeling that the day would go just as you wanted and it did.

Gorgeous Hotel - Perfect Venue!
We got married at The Craiglands Hotel on Saturday 27th December 2008. It was fantastic. The hotel was decorated beautifully and had a lovely Christmas tree in the entrance which was used as a backdrop for our photographs. The wedding coordinator Jodie was so very helpful, and did her best to help us out by organising us a menu tasting and wedding rehearsal so we could get our music and timings just right. She even recommended us a hairdresser in Ilkley who was brilliant! On the day Jodie and the staff were faultless, they helped the day run smoothly and we just had the best day. This hotel is just simply stunning and is the perfect place for a wedding.

Great venue and great service
We had our wedding both ceremony and reception at the Craiglands Hotel in May 2008 and cannot fault the venue or the service. The venue was ideal because there was ample room for everybody with a homely feel and it was wonderful getting married in front of their big bay windows overlooking a beautiful view of Ilkley. We had access to the well kept gardens which were great for photos and allowed the children present to run around! It was perfect for the evening because we had our own adjoining bar area where people could go to sit and talk away from the music and dancing when they wanted a rest. What made the day however was the service from all the staff, in particular the wedding coordinator Jodie and the master of ceremonies Dan. They both fell over themselves to help us in any way they could, both in the lead up to and on the day of the wedding without ever getting in the way. This even included Jodie volunteering without us asking to blow up all our balloons in the morning that we had bought ourselves. At no point during the day did we ever feel like we were having to organise anything- everything went so smoothly it was almost too good to be true! We would certainly recommend the Craiglands to any other couples looking for a wedding venue.

Excellent venue and excellent staff
We had our wedding reception at Craiglands in June 2008. We couldn't fault the effort the wedding coordinator and staff put in to make our special day run smoothly!! The attention to detail was amazing and they didn't seem to mind when the timings didn't go according to plan!! All in all,excellent food, staff and venue!!

Really good location, with very helpful staff!
We got married at the Craiglands in August 08. In the run up to the wedding, the wedding planner was very helpful and kept in regular contact, helping us to organise our day! The day it's self was fantastic and went without a hitch, they accomodated our every request and didn't bat an eyelid when we delayed certain aspects of the day at a moments notice, we were also lucky with the weather and have some amazing photos as a result!
