Brilliant day

What a good venue, wth family and friends travelling from all over it made their journeys very easy. The service and food was very good and Lindsay the Wedding Co-Ordinator was a great help and took all the stress and strain for us, so we could enjoy the day.

Thoroughly recommended

Myself and my now husband held our wedding ceremony and reception at The Bear Hotel on 13th April 2006. All of the staff there were very efficent and more than helpful. The food served was delicious and nearly everyone said so , both adults and children alike. The Bear Hotel certainly gave us a wedding day we will never forget and we would recommend it to anyone who might be thinking of holding their wedding there.

A beautiful and convenient setting

This a great weeding venue, not least because of the friendly service and manager. The bar area is funky and is a great place for guests to mingle. The Riverside suite is large and has its own bar abd access to the river which is really pretty. Great photo opportunites as well.
