A Perfect Venue
From first contacting The Barn, my husband and I were convinced that this was where we wanted to get married, and was actually the only venue we viewed! From the outset, Philippe was helpful, welcoming and friendly. My husband and I got engaged on Christmas Day, and were planning for a September wedding, until we found out we were expecting at the end of January. Luckily, The Barn were able to accommodate a very rushed(!) April wedding. Trying to plan a wedding with such little time would have been impossible had it not been for the continued guidance and support of Philippe and Janet; always on hand when we had questions or concerns, and more than happy to advise when asked. They went above and beyond in helping to organise our day. The day itself was stunning. The Barn was decorated to immaculate standards with both the Ceremony Room and the Restaurant looking beautiful in our colour scheme. The food was second to none, as was the service of the staff. Both my husband and I, and all of our guests were delighted with our choice, and our day was made that much more exceptional by Philippe, Janet and all of their team. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you to all of you once again for making the most special day of our lives that little bit more perfect.

The most beautiful day of our lives
Philippe (The Manager) and the whole team at The Barn made our wedding day spectacular. From the initial meetings with Philippe we had complete confidence that we had chosen the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. We loved how we could really do what we wanted at this venue, unlike some others that we viewed and we felt totally supported and relaxed as Philippe organised so much of the day for us. The Barn is beautiful and the courtyard garden looks stunning, filled with flowers during the day and twinkling with lights as the sun goes down. The conservatory was perfect for the ceremony and looked stunning with very little decoration. Philippe accommodated every request we made, especially in regard to the menu where he and the chefs went above and beyond the call of duty to surpass all expectations. This was hugely important to me as I am a catering manager myself. Six months on our friends and family are still talking about how great the staff were and how totally amazing the evening buffet was. I couldn’t recommend The Barn highly enough to anyone wanting not only a relaxed and easy wedding, but for couples wanting the ‘fairy tale’ day they will always remember, this is the place to be! We really can’t thank the team at The Barn enough for making us feel so special and for making our day the most beautiful day of our lives. Holly & Scott Carey (Married on 25th September 2011).

The Happiest Day and So Relaxing
To, Janet & Phillipe We had the best day, nothing went wrong and it was all down to you and your staff. Janet was like my own personal wedding planner, even down to going out to but a cake knife the day before the wedding, so we did not have to use a kitchen knife. Phillipe, your amazing decorating skills came in handy i just left you to it and it looked amazing!!! The food was great, we had so many good reports about it, and the staff were great, even acting as doormen in the freezing weather. Thank you so much to all of you from the bottom of our hearts.

The best day ever!
To Philippe, Janet and all the staff at The Barn, Thank you so much for making our wedding day the best day ever. The Staff are such a credit, Ben was a great help throughout the day and we could not praise him enough. I also felt that the staff went completely beyond their duties to make our day perfect for us, one staff member (sorry unfortunately I don't know her name) kept checking on our baby son so we and our guests could relax and enjoy ourselves, this was very unexpected and completely brilliant. We had so many good comments about the food, which was beautiful, my fish was so perfectly cooked, the portion sizes were really generous and the service was fantastic. I think the most important thing was that our day was just so relaxed, and because of this we were just able to sit back take it all in and enjoy it, the atmosphere at the venue was really great throughout the day and evening. I would also like to thank you on your advice and help with the lead up to the day, there was not one occasion where I wasn't able to get hold of you and any emails I sent were responded to almost immediately, I cannot say enough about your professionalism and quality of service I had from you, nothing has been too much trouble throughout and i would recommend you strongly to absolutely anyone. All our guests had a ball!
Janet & Philippe & all the staff. When I walked in I was feeling a little pressured, but at the same time I was delighted by the transformation of The Barn. The tables looked great. The space fit for a banquet - when I left I was sure Julie would feel the same. Janet - the chair covers really did set the conservatory off I think it was wonderful. Philippe - the food was amazing and all I heard from all our guests was how they had enjoyed the menu we had created. I’m sure that all of that is down to you and your staff's skill in the kitchen. Table waiting staff were excellent!!! quietly going about their duties with no fuss and always polite helpful and smiling. Please thank them all on our behalf. Thank you to all who worked so hard on that one day to make our wedding a memorable day that will be with us forever. I will have no hesitation in recommending your establishment for future events to all my friends, family and acquaintances. You have a great team, a great venue and very very happy customers!!!
