We got married at the Abbey Hotel Malvern in September 2023 and everything was excellent from the first contact to the end. Very professional and friendly wedding and event manager and the staff on the day were excellent. The food was delicious and all the guests complimented it as well! We had a beautiful room with a gorgeous view to the Abbey with the most comfy bed. Everything was just amazing and we couldn’t be happier! Thank you all!

From the moment we decided to have our wedding at the Abbey Hotel, we found the whole experience seemless. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day, the whole team were amazing and all our guests were just as impressed as we were.

Absolutely amazing experience! The staff are extremely experienced in putting a wedding together and it shows- Alison the Wedding and Events Manager supported us all along the way, helping us to have the wedding we wanted but also advising on elements that would or would not work. Karolina the Floor Services manager and the whole day-of team were also amazing- everything was sorted and went off flawlessly, all the vendors/ deliveries/ setup slotted together seamlessly, and I was able to just relax and enjoy the day. The package they offered was so easy and stress free to work with (e.g. the catering, DJ and venue dress were booked for us), and yet also really high quality and allowing us scope to customise what we wanted. Finally, the location of course was absolutely stunning! Thank you all :)

The staff here will go above and beyond to ensure your day is truly special. Nothing is too much trouble and they work with you rather than for you offering guidance and ideas that you may not have thought of! We had total support from the day one of organising, thank you Alison, up to the actual day, thank you Radka and all staff present on our wedding day. Superb!

We were impressed from the first contact how efficient our wedding planner Alison was right from the initial contact all the way through our wedding planning experience. Our wedding day was perfect in every sense. Communication was good with all the staff, they were so polite and friendly and helpful in every way, if we had any query they were aware of who to contact, if they could not address the issue.
Our guests gave us excellent feedback on the food, staff and environment. Our wedding was a very hot day so we are glad we chose the air-conditioned function room. As after spending time in the sun having photographs taken, and drinks served in the beautiful Abbey gardens, it was so good to walk into a nice cool room to eat.
We did try an Afternoon Tea at the Abbey, prior to our wedding and it was delightful so we had a confidence our day would be made special by the Abbey.
We did gain a number of good local contacts from the Abbey Hotel Wedding Fayre, ie supplier for providing wedding cake, making our wedding rings, and make up.
It has been a great experience working with the Abbey Hotel.

Our journey began with contacting Alison to understand the hotel's wedding package offerings. We met her at the picturesque hotel, and offered us both a drink whilst we discussed the reception. She explained all of the options, and tailored our wedding reception to meet our budget and requirements. We had lots of questions, and asked for a few changes which we weren't sure would be catered for. They were, and not only that, Alison did this with great professionalism and with a smile.

The food options were excellent, and were flexible enough to cater to the dietary needs of all guests.

On the day, our guests were welcomed at the entrance to the hotel by Pavel, our Event Supervisor. He was extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Guests were not left guessing what to do next; he kept everybody well informed, and requests were dealt with promptly and efficiently.

Pavel offered us a chance to see the function suite before the guests saw it. It looked opulent; Alison came to greet us and mentioned how wonderful it looked. There was a last minute change too, which was dealt with before guests sat down to eat.

Drinks were served immediately, and the meal was served promptly to our hungry guests, who seemed only too happy to devour the delicious food. We loved our food. Requests for extra gravy, and tweaks to dishes were dealt with quickly and without fuss by the catering staff.

It really was a memorable experience, and one neither of us will forget, for all the right reasons! Thank you Alison, Jess , and Pavel. A big thanks to the catering staff too - the chefs, and waiters/waitresses who worked so hard to make our event special.

We wanted a small venue and The Abbey was able to deliver this both for the service of our marriage ceremony and for the following celebrations. From the moment we chose to celebrate our marriage at the hotel right up to checking out after our wedding night, everything has been dealt with in the most professional and tactful manner.
Our wedding breakfast meal was perfect with the most delicious lamb being served.
Both of the wedding co-ordinators were on hand throughout the afternoon and into the evening, announcing their departure in the most kindly way. Nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you Abbey, you have provided us with such fond memories that not only we will treasure but also our family and guests will for the rest of our lives.

Booked the Abbey for our special day and all the staff made it truly amazing and memorable. Alison was fantastic throughout our planning and Radka our coordinator we had on the day was incredible. The package price was very good and the food we had was super tasty and the best by far compared to other weddings i have attended.

"In our first meeting with Alison, we were shown around all of the rooms, along with detailed explanation of how the wedding packages worked, we felt dutifully informed and afterwards felt no need to visit any other venue.

Alison provided fantastic support throughout the process and accommodated all of my 'bridezilla' moments brilliantly. Every question or query whether by phone or email was always dealt with immediately. Alison really went over and above to ensure we had everything we wanted, including our honeymoon suite.

Everyone at the hotel was really helpful when we had our trial meal, we were served by Tomas, who was also there on our wedding day-it was great to have a friendly familiar face serve our guests!

As we got nearer to the big day, Alison was on annual leave for a week or so, however Lora was extremely helpful, and at no point did i feel as though I had to wait for Alison to return before anything was confirmed. Communication at all points throughout the year of us booking was absolutely outstanding.

A few days prior to the wedding we had a meeting at the hotel, where we realised the choice we had made on the tables wasnt right, Lora went out of her way to make sure this was amended, so thank you!

Again when we were meeting at the Abbey the few days prior we met our event co-ordinator Radka, who settled any final nerves and confirmed everything was in place- also responding almost immediately when I had pressing questions.

On the day Radka was absolutely incredible, ensuring everything was perfect working non-stop throughout the day,(the cheese was presented beautifully)

The Abbey was an excellent venue they did everything they could to make our day perfect and make everything stress free for us. There is not a thing I would of changed

Everything was above and beyond what we expected all weekend, from the weather, to the hotel, to the staff, organisation and management of they day, we could not fault a thing. Alison was fantastic during the whole planning and lead up to the wedding and Tomas and his staff were exceptional in every aspect of the day. We cannot recommend the Abbey Hotel enough as a place to either get married or just to stay, it was perfect.

Our Civil Ceremony was held on 16th June 2018. The organisation was second to none, the staff were lovely and helpful. Alison and Alex were particularly helpful, supportive and efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. The day went so perfectly, everything ran smoothly, the food and service was excellent. Our guests all commented on what a fabulous wedding it was. Thank you to the Abbey. We will highly recommend you to everyone.
