Tankersley Manor began life as a 17thcentury manor house and this fantastic setting is the perfect venue for your wedding celebrations.  With original oak beams, Yorkshire stone windowsills and award winning gardens overlooking the spectacular scenery of the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales, your guests jaws will be dropping long before they catch a glimpse of the happy couple.

At Tankersley Manor we provide the perfect setting for your special day, from large celebrations, to small intimate gatherings, civil ceremonies and civil partnerships.  We have a number of suites to choose from depending on your requirements including the Tankersley Suite located in our Events Centre.  This superb suite can seat up to 280 for a wedding breakfast and has a large reception area for you and your guests to mingle with a glass or two of fizz before you sit down to enjoy your delicious meal.  For a more intimate affair, within the main hotel is the Manor Suite, a lovely room with traditional Yorkshire stone features and always a friendly warm Yorkshire welcome for you and your guests.

We know the sheer amount of planning that goes into making your one special day special.  Our Wedding Co-ordinator will live and breathe your wedding with you, we’ll be on the end of the phone whenever you need reassurance or just want to double and triple check details.  Our eye for detail, professionalism and years of experience will make sure your guests take away as many fond memories as you.

Our team are on hand to make your dreams come true.  Let you imagination run wild and we will make your dreams come true, and of course we’ll work to your budget, there will be no hidden extras.  Our talented chefs will create a tailor made meal fit for a Queen, from the canapés right through to the evening buffet, your taste buds will be tingling.

As the music comes to an end and the evening draws to a close, don’t let the magic end there.  We have 100 bedrooms overflowing with contemporary and for the ultimate extravagance ask about our suites or romantic four poster rooms.  We also have a fantastic spa and leisure club for that pre or post chill out!

      Our Day Was Perfect!!
      Our day was perfect!! We really can't thank tankersly staff enough nothing was to much trouble for them especially Kay she really did do a fantastic job the day wouldn't have been the same without her, even Monday morning Kay helped me to get all our things together what a lovely woman she is. Me and Ben would like to thank yourself, Kay and all the rest of the tankersly for making our day so special for us Toni and Ben Neale

      Perfect Day
      It really was all we could have wished for and more!! I can't thank you and the staff that worked with us enough for all that you did to make it a perfect day...we loved every minute,just wish we could do it all over again.       Hi Rebecca, We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Tankersley Manor. We had such a wonderful day. So many of our guests said the food was the best they had ever tasted at a wedding. The staff were so helpful and friendly, it just made the day run so smoothly. The crook barn was a God send because of the bad weather and because of that we have some lovely wedding photos. Thank you so much for all your hard work. Every time I rang with a question or silly request, you and the rest of the team responded promptly and nothing was too much of a problem, even when I rang 5 days before the wedding adding more guests!       Best Day Ever
      Hi Rebecca, Apologies for the delay in replying, it's been manic.       The actual wedding day was brilliant we really enjoyed it as did all our guests! The food was fab and the staff were great! Big thank you to Russell too for making sure it all ran smoothly! Was really chuffed with the nightime 'do' too as people had a blast and the band we booked were great! All in all it has been better than we could ever have hoped for!
