Fabulous day, high quality venue & service
Our engagement was Valentines Day 2009 and the wedding Sunday June 13th 2010. We wanted a 'one stop shop' wedding of ceremony, wedding breakfast, evening reception, accommodation and facilities. St Mellion ticked all those boxes and the standard of the facilities was amazing, it cant be long beofre they get the fifth star. Our planner Naomi was always helpful, prompt to reply and patient with us. One concern we did have was the risk that being at a golf club might result in us playing second fiddle to those with bats and balls but even when we held up play driving buggies to the lake for photos we got a round of applause from an all male fourball - think the dress blowing up had something to do with that!! The whole day went without a incident and the way we were treated by the staff, especially rachael will be something we wont forget, nothing was too much trouble and we felt like celebrities. This attention lasted right through until we checked out on Tuesday morning and we were gutted it had to end. The biggest thanks and compliments goes to our MC Andy who worked tirelessly all day until we headed down to the 24hr bar at midnight, an unexpected bonus for those of us with the stamina. St mellions strength was the standard of facilities and also the level of service and attention. This is bets summed up by a request from one of Rachael's friends who asked for tequila but was told by the bar staff they didnt have any. Andy had overheard and insisted "what the bride wants, the bride gets". Thankfully the slammers didnt last long, but the memories will.

Oh what a perfect Day!!!!!! 17th April 2010 !
I cannot praise the staff at St Mellion enough, nothing was too much trouble, every single member of staff were fantastic. The food was suberb and the room looked beautiful.David and Emily both agreed it was the best day of their lives. We have a large family and they all travelled down for a long weekend, there was 30 of us and we stayed in the lodges, they were very reasonable, comfortable and clean, the men played golf and others went to Looe beach as the weather was so beautiful, everyone had such a good time we are hoping to arrange a holiday next year for all of us.!!! happy anniversary!!!!!

Fantastic!
Thank you very much for coordinating such a perfect Wedding Reception for us in July of last year. Rob and I thought the organisation and quality of the food was superb. We particularly liked the personal touch to our dessert plates. We had a fantastic day which all ran smoothly with the wonderful service that St. Mellion provided.

St. Mellion International was the perfect venue in every way for my Wedding in January. Even though the weather was miserable and everyone was soaked, St. Mellion created the perfect day for us. Best Day of my life
I have never had such fantastic treatment, I felt like a princess the whole day. What made it even more special is that Hannah organised a suprise Birthday cake for my new Husband, I think we only mentioned on one occasion that it was Paul''s Birthday and that was over 5 months before...fantastic venue also - photo''s look great !!

“Our wedding day was a dream come true. We received so many compliments from friends and family on the day on our good taste in venue. Our compliments to the chef also as the food was really delicious. All the staff were really friendly and we immediately felt at home. Next time I visit I will try and get out on the golf course!”
