      Perfect day!
We recently got married at St Edmund's school chapel, the beautiful setting and surrounding buildings created the perefct place to get married. Gerry Butcher the events manage could not have been more helpul in organising and assisting us before and during our special day. The chapel itself provided some amazing images captured by our photographer both internally and externally, especailly the rare oportunity to use the mezzanine level for photos to look down on the ceremony. We would recommend this wedding venue to anyone who wishes for the perfect setting.

Our special day at a special venue
Having recently got married in the chapel of St. Edmund's School, Canterbury, we wanted to let as many people as possible know what a perfect venue it is for a wedding. The chapel was the perfect size for our wedding party, roughly 80 guests, and with the sun shining through the stain glassed windows it set the scene beautifully. Gerry Butcher and her team were a fantastic help both before and during the day, enabling us to have a stress free day without any worries at all, a real credit to the venue for sure! We then held our reception onsite in a lovely marquee, which was set against the backdrop of Canterbury, elevated offering views of the Cathedral. It was simply stunning and we can't wait to see the photos! Overall, it was a wonderfully romantic venue to have our wedding and we would not have changed a thing about the day!

Our happiest day at the beautiful chapel..!
We recently got married at the chapel of St. Edmund's School, Canterbury. It was a sentimental place for us, especially for the groom who went to the school for 14 years. It was like going back home for his family and they have many happy memories there. Not only it is emotionally special for us, but the venue itself is also very beautiful and elegant. The chapel was just the right size for us and the stained glasses were so beautiful with sunlight coming in. The whole school building is so pretty and all the picture we had taken came out so romantic. From the back garden of the school, as it is on the hill, you can overlook the beautiful Canterbury Cathedral as background and the contrast of the blue sky, green garden and the Cathedral is just so breath-taking as a memorable scenery. As it was the school chapel, they let us decorate the place as we like, which we enjoyed. Many thanks to their event coordinator Mrs. Butcher and the team, everything went so smoothly even though it was during half-term! We really enjoyed having our wedding ceremony there, and it is highly recommended!
