Ab Fab!!!
My daughter got married on 20 April 2013. Stunning location and wedding planner Yvonne and her team ensured that everyone had a perfect day from start to finish. The team were friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Even collecting the flowers and lost items the next day was well organised. Plenty of lovely food both for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. Customer service was exemplary. A beautiful place to visit all year round, but especially on a lovely sunny day as there are plenty of photo opportunities. Good facilities for disabled with lifts, ramps, wide entrances, etc. All in all, excellent value; it was money well spent as we all had a fantastic day. Well done and a big thank you to all your team and hope your wedding goes just as well Yvonne xx

Perfect Day
We got married yesterday (20 04.13) and chose to have our whole day at Rufford Mill. What a perfect day! From the surroundingss (picture perfect) the food, the room and the staff we could not have asked for anything more. Our day was magical with no hiccups. Yvonne, the wedding co-ordinator was fantastic from day 1. Would highly recommend this venue :) Leanne & Thomas Aram xx

Thank you for our perfect wedding day!
We got married at Rufford in September 2012 and honestly could not have asked for anything more perfect. From the very first time we met, Yvonne was a wonderful and (most importantly) honest wedding coordinator. She made us feel special before we even booked it! I knew nothing about organising a wedding but Yvonne answered all my questions brilliantly. The last meeting we had before the wedding reassured me so much that I was leaving it all in capable hands! On the day everything went like clockwork. Yvonne & her staff treated us & our guests as if we were important to them, and they genuinely gave the air of being delighted for us. The venue itself is a beautiful room above, bizarrely, an outdoor clothing shop!! It spoke to us as it was elegant & modern yet simutaneously relaxed & traditional. We loved the beams mostly! The Mill is located at the far end of Rufford Country Park by the ford, which provided extra entertainment for our guests! The park has beautiful photographic opportunities and lots of places for our guests to wander. We honestly had the most magical day, and as we live locally we go back to Rufford quite often, see the room again, and say hello to Yvonne. Just wonderful.

Snow Wedding
Myself and Matthew wed at this beautiful location on 23rd march 2013, 4 inches of snow had fallen the night before/ morning of, but that did not hinder the team at Rufford!. Honestly, the staff at Rufford went over and above to make sure we had the most perfect day despite the weather (fabulous photos will be posted soon). We cannot recommend them more highly, the food, personal service,everything couldnt have been more wonderful.i wish i could give them a higher star rating. truly superb!. A big thank you to Yvonne, Hazel and the rest of the team for a truly memorable day xx

The perfect day!
We got married & had our reception at Rufford Mill on the 21st March 2012 and it couldn't have been more perfect.Rufford itself is a lovely venue with millions of excellent photo opportunities, especially on a sunny day. The staff were fantastic and accommodating, especially Yvonne, the wedding planner, who had only one interest on the day and that was making sure that everything was perfect for us. We worried about nothing. The food (a sit down carvery and a hog roast in the evening) was lovely and drinks at the bar reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this as the best wedding venue in Nottinghamshire!

A simply wonderful day!
We got married at Rufford Mill on the 1st March and had the best day we could have ever wished for. The weather was a tad cold but Yvonne and the team could not have been more accommodating: from turning the room around an hour earlier than planned, to looking after elderly grandparents, nothing was too much trouble. Mark even remained at the venue until 2am with a female friend to ensure she made it back to her b&b safely. We were touched by the kindness of all the staff and only wish we could do it all again!

Amazing venue
My daughter and her partner got married on 9th march and the weather was not great, but we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Yvonne, the wedding coordinator is fantastic and is the calmest woman I know. We were sent the wrong chair covers and not enough sashes which could have been a disaster but she pulled it together with the help of her contacts. I can't praise her enough as with all the staff including hazel. They are so friendly but so professional, and I cant recommend this beautiful place highly enough to any couple for one of the best days of thier lives. Thank you

Not the best weather but an amazing day
We got married on the 28th oct 2012, it was chilly and kept drizzling but still the day was amazing. I was worrying about the weather and how quick the room could be turned round as we chose this venue to spend some of the day outside in the lovely grounds but without everyone being wet through. I told people to bring wellies and brollies just in case and the pictures look amazing with these. Yvonne and the rest of the team were brilliant. The food was lovely and all the little bits and bobs planned for the tables all looked great. Everyone commented on how it was a relaxed day and how they enjoyed the walk in the grounds, especially the children.

My perfect wedding day at Rufford!
We got married at Rufford on the 27th Oct 2012. Yvonne and the team were great, nothing was too much trouble and we could basically have what we wanted which was great as some places can be strict about silly things. Food was fantastic and wine was plentiful in the drinks package. The location is absolutely stunning and looked amazing on our wedding photos. The price is also extremely reasonable compared to many other venues, I just hope they don't put it up because of all the great reviews they keep getting! Bar prices also reasonable. The only thing that could be improved is the lighting from the car park. Some of the evening guests who were by themselves said it was very dark walking to the Mill for the evening reception, they are however building a new car park and this may rectify the problem. I would have absolutely no issues in recommending this fantastic venue and am so pleased we selected it for our special day.

Faaaaaaaantastic!
We had the most amazing wedding day on Wednesday 12th December 2012 from start to finish. Yvonne (the wedding planner)is AMAZING! She cannot do enough for you, made the day run smoothly and without a hitch! We will forever be grateful to her for the way our day turned out and was enjoyed by all. The venue is beautiful and offers stunning photo opportunities. The food was fantastic and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed it!
