Rufford Abbey Country Park is a historic estate in the Nottinghamshire Dukeries, three miles east of famous Sherwood Forest. The beautiful grounds and pretty lake offer an inspiring location for your wedding ceremony and photographs.  The hustle and bustle of the city streets will feel far away as you and your guests relax in its country estate ambiance.  If you're searching for a venue that's impressive but not stuffy, attractive but not too formal, Rufford Mill is an ideal choice.

THE TALBOT SUITE AT RUFFORD MILL Overlooking tranquil Rufford Lake, this historic brick building was once a corn mill on the Rufford Abbey estate.  It's been converted into a wedding venue with a fresh and contemporary style, hosting weddings 7 days a week throughout the year.

The function room, on the first floor, is easily reached by lift & stairs and has its own cosy bar adjoining. The spacious and airy 49ft x 29ft room will comfortably seat 150 guests theatre style, or 80 banquet style.

A dedicated car park in the mill courtyard offers 20 spaces. Close by is a woodland car park with ample additional parking.

All food is freshly prepared from our own kitchens. Our friendly catering team offer various packages to suit all pockets. Midweek weddings - all inclusive from £3000 Monday-Thursday, and & 7 days a week January -March. Friday & Sunday weddings - Room hire from £650, Saturday weddings - Room hire from £950. Reception drinks from £3.95 per person, wedding breakfasts from £26.95 per person. White linen and glassware included in room hire charge.       The Perfect Winter Wedding 17.12.11
      We first met Yvonne 1 1/2 years ago and every image we had of our perfect wedding was accomplished this weekend with lots of support from Yvonne! It is the most romantic venue you could dream of with the exposed brick work, the lake and the Abbey. Extremely impressive catering and room layout turning into a fantastic evening reception room!       Amazing venue, amazing staff, amazing day.
      I could not put in to words how perfect everything went. Yvonne Stone who co-ordinated it is the most fantastic host and most thoughtful person you could meet. All staff attended to all guests' needs throughout the whole day - really happy and friendly. Amazing venue and looks beautiful - would recommend to anyone as would all of the guests.
