day faultless. Nothing is too much trouble. Whatever the time of year, guests can enjoy champagne on the terrace
during your reception and admire the beautiful scenery, or on the
circular lawn in front of the East Wing of the Castle. We will do all that we can to make this one of the most memorable days

      Classic and historic Yorkshire wedding
      I had my wedding in the main Castle at Ripley on 28 November 2009. From the first time we went to view the venue to the Big Day itself the staff proved to be friendly, efficient, experienced and helpful. During the planning stages every key detail was amply covered and accommodated by Becky, the Events and Marketing Executive. On the Big Day both my husband and I felt we and our guests were very well looked after, everything was extremely well organised and ran like clock-work. Any feelings of apprehension evaporated as soon as I arrived and was greeted by the Front of House Manager, who proved to be a tour de force as the day rolled on. A particularly nice touch was the tour of the Castle, which our guests especially enjoyed. The venue itself was lovely, the Library, Drawing Room and Morning room looked very elegant, the air of romance being accentuated by the lit fires, candles and chandeliers. A particular mention has to go to the Roast Beef served at the Wedding Breakfast, which was the best I’ve had in many years. My only regret is that the wedding is now over, I’d love to go back in time and re-live the day as it was so enjoyable. So I have no hesitation to give Ripley Castle and its staff a five-star rating, it’s well deserved!

      What a venue for a wedding of your dreams!!
      We're having our wedding at Ripley Castle in July 2006 and so far, the service from the staff has been outstanding and this is before we're even married! I cannot wait for our wedding next year and for Ripley to shine even more than they already doing in my eyes. Keep up the good work!!

      Something for everyone
      I wouldn't be able to say enough about how wonderful everyone at Ripley and the Boar's head were from beginning wedding plans through to the end of our stay. Everything was perfect, far better than I had hoped while planning a wedding from the states! The staff were professional and pleasant, the dinner was superb, and the castle was of course beautiful. Many thanks to Chloe and the excellent people at Ripley!!

      Excellent from start to finish
      Absolutely gorgeous - the most romantic setting for a wedding in the North of England!! The staff and service were excellent and we'd reccommend it to anybody. The Best Day EVER!!!
