Gorgeous, romantic grounds. Impeccable service.
They say that when choosing your wedding venue, first impressions count as this is what all your guests will see. Rhinefield certainly gives a great first impression, it''s nestled in the midst of woodland, with a long sweeping drive leading up to the house. The grounds are stunning with all the water features, tree promenade, maze & ampi-theatre some fabulous photo opportunities! We got married in December and considering it was the first working day back after christmas, there were no issues whatsoever with supplies etc!
The staff were friendly & the service could not be faulted, we were looked after by Vicky on the day who did a sterling job! This venue has awards for it''s cuisine, and the wedding breakfast met all our expectations! Divine! With regards to costs, it depends on which package you go for, but all in all we thought it was very fair for everything that was included in the package. Our package included the services of a Toastmaster which we would strongly recommend as he ensured the smooth running of the day .Depending on the number of guests, you can also opt to have one long table for the wedding breakfast, we had this & all the guest commented on how elegant & intimate it was.
Also included in our package was a suite for the wedding night which was absolutely gorgeous, one of the best rooms I''ve ever stayed in. You will not be disappointed.
Guests were also happy with their rooms, albeit the only slight issue is that you arent supposed to be able to check in until 3pm so some guests had to do this mid-way through the reception. Another slight niggle, is that a changing room is available prior to the wedding, but unfortunately, there are no bathroom facilities here. I overcame this obstacle by staying the night before!
Despite these niggles, we had a perfect day & would highly recommend this venue because of its fantastic setting, cuisine & service!
