We had our special day on the 11th October 2025, and everything was amazing.
The team from the moment we came in for the open day until the wedding day were so helpful, polite, friendly and everything we could want.
Considering the hiccups and hurdles (non venue related) the whole team worked tirelessly to give us the perfect day.
Pre communication was great with prompt responses and no question being too much including the booking and the planning. Thank you to Jo, Maisie and Ellie!
Every conversation online and in person was met with smiles and understanding.
Silvia and her team on the day were amazing, catering to everything we asked for, and some just off their own accord which was appreciated. The food had raving reviews from guests and us too of course. Everything was listened to from the tasting and implemented on the actual day too.
Silvia problem solved on the day and discreetly too without us even knowing until the day after. She is extremely professional but very approachable too. All of the bar staff were super friendly and genuinely looked like they wanted to be there.
All of the hotel staff were lovely, we had great service. We stayed an extra night after our wedding and again just met with smiles throughout and plenty of congratulations.
I cannot fault Horwood, they really made our day as special as it could be and I wish I could do it all over again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone because they’d get such a memorable day in return.

Our Magical Wedding Day
Our wedding at Horwood House Hotel was truly unforgettable. From the very beginning, the entire experience felt magical, and the beautiful Manor Room made our special day even more memorable. We held both our ceremony and reception there, and the room itself is effortlessly elegant and stunning. As a bride, I decided to do the decorations myself, and with the help of my groom now my husband, seeing everything come together on the day was incredibly rewarding — the atmosphere looked absolutely amazing.
We would especially like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Maisie McCusker for all her support throughout our wedding preparations. She was always friendly, reassuring, easy to talk to, and kept in touch with us every step of the way, which made the planning process so much less stressful.
A huge thank you as well to all the staff who helped make our wedding day on May 17, 2026, run so smoothly. Special mention goes to Sylvia and Marius, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. Marius was incredibly approachable, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their kindness and professionalism truly made a difference on our special day.
We also deeply appreciated the thoughtful touches prepared for us after the wedding — walking into our room decorated with rose petals, beautiful swan towels, and a lovely congratulations card from the team was such a heartwarming surprise.
Thank you once again to everyone at Horwood House for making our wedding day so special. We had the most wonderful time and will always cherish the memories created there. The Best Wedding Venue Ever
We had our wedding at Horwood House Hotel on Sunday and I don’t even know where to start the team were absolutely fantastic. Nothing felt like it was too much trouble people were already moving and organising for us before we even asked or thought about it. Every single person took great care of us and made us feel so amazing. A special mention to Georgina, Maisie, Maisie and Daria for going above and beyond to make sure every guest was comfortable. The food was out of this world, everyone was talking about it the next day. There were clear plates all around and the evening buffet was beautiful and everyone enjoyed it. The team are so good at what they do, the whole day felt so easy and organised to every little detail! This hotel deserves 10 stars it was beautiful the rooms were so clean and every guest felt like they were special. If you’re not looking at Horwood House for your wedding you should be, our whole stay and spa experience was just magical. Thank you to the whole team at Horwood House for your hard work and hospitality from the heart.

We had our wedding at Horwood House in August, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The staff were amazing on the day and helped the day flow seamlessly. Everything we envisioned came to life on the day! We worked with Maisie M to plan the day and she was so helpful in the run up. On the day we had another Maisie who was amazing in ensuring the day went seamlessly, really taking the pressure off us as a couple, nothing was too much! The vibe was exactly what we’d hoped for: joyful, relaxed, and full of love. We felt completely in the moment, surrounded by happiness, and truly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Horwood House will forever hold such a special place in our hearts. We would 1000% recommend having your wedding at Horwood house 🩵 -

Just got back from meeting with the lovely Georgina, and I’ve officially set the date for my big day!
This whole process has been incredibly well-handled from the very start. You can really tell the team has a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to special events and weddings.
Georgina put me at ease straight away—she’s always listened to my ideas and made me feel truly heard. The open days are honestly the best I’ve seen; they give you such a clear, inspiring picture of what your wedding day could look like.
Feeling excited and confident knowing I’m in such capable hands!
i cant wait to meet with maisie next to set with all the little details.
