Amazing wedding venue

We recently got married at Holdsworth house and it was amazing!
The day could not have been more perfect
We had our meetings with Amanda who was so helpful and wanted our day to be as perfect as we did!
Nothing was ever too much trouble and the staff at holdsworth house went above and beyond prior to the wedding and especially on the day!
Tracey was our coordinator for the day who just made everything run so smoothly
Thank you so much for making our day so special!

Amazing from start to finish!

I can’t recommend Holdsworth House enough! From the moment we looked round to the day we left the venue after the wedding the staff were amazing, so attentive and answered all our questions. Ruby the wedding coordinator couldn’t do enough for us, she helped us through the planning, made suggestions when we didn’t have a clue what to do and made the day run so smooth and effortlessly. It is an incredible venue and definitely value for money!!

Wonderful Wedding Day at Holdsworth House

Excellent service from every member of staff from the moment we visited one of their wedding open days right through to the days after our wedding.
Massive thanks to our wedding co-ordinator Ruby and Josh for looking after us on our wedding day.
The food was amazing, everything from the wedding breakfast, the pie menu and the vast selection at breakfast in the morning was delicious. The kitchen, bar staff & waiting staff provided a first class service.
We can’t thank everyone enough for all that they did, reception staff were extremely helpful.

Gorgeous venue

Wonderful setting for a spring wedding. The staff guide you through the day so everything runs smoothly. Good quality food and drink

The most perfect wedding day

We couldn't have asked for more. Attentive from the day we enquired. Nothing was any trouble. Catered for everything including very last minute changes. Calm, chilled and extremely organised. It didn't matter which wedding planner you spoke to, everyone knew your individual needs and accommodated every request. The wedding planner on the day ensured everything went exactly to plan and on time. Each and every staff member was friendly and professional. The food was exquisite. Unlike many wedding venues, the attention to everyone's food was as if you were having a meal for two, which is a huge task when catering for 63 people all at the same time. It was the same for the evening food, which was a hot buffet catering for around 100 people. The whole day was just perfect. Beautiful location, beautiful people. (Final bill included 4 extra rooms we paid for on top of the complimentary 2 parents rooms & choice of 2 bridal suites, ribbons/sashes for dining chairs, extra work of setting up outside for our wedding ceremony etc ). We had 63 for our wedding and wedding breakfast & around 100-110 for our evening reception.

Everything was Excellent!

The venue was picture perfect, the staff went over and above to ensure our day was seemless, providing fantastic customer service, and the food was stunning! Can’t rate it highly enough!

A Fantastic Day

Dear Claire, just a quick note from me to say a huge thank you to you and all the staff at Holdsworth House who gave us a fantastic day on 2nd January! Both Lesley and I loved the day, I had high expectations, and they were amazingly surpassed!

Until that day, Holdsworth House had hosted the best wedding I had ever been to in the UK, and had only been beaten by one held in Segovia. I may be biased, but I think ours beat it.

We have been inundated with messages about how good the day was. Staff, food and venue. Tracy and all the others in attendance throughout the day were outstanding!

Thank you all very much! All our best wishes for 2020 and beyond!

Amazing venue

This venue is amazing whether you have your ceremony inside or out. We were lucky enough to have great weather and we had a small intimate ceremony on the front lawn under the gazebo. I cannot fault the staff from the moment we looked round, right up to the day we felt looked after and nothing was too much trouble. The team there are fantastic. I would definitely recommend this lovely venue to anyone, they cater for weddings big or small! It's just a shame the day goes so quickly, I wish I could do it all again it was perfect.

amazing and memorable

We had an amazing and memorable wedding celebration at Holdsworth House. Honestly, we have only high praises for the Holdsworth House Team for making sure that everything was perfect on our wedding day. They were responsive to all our queries made by emails and (some) phone calls, and they made sure that our requests were accommodated. They were incredibly efficient! I am especially grateful to Chris for making sure everything was perfect during the wedding ceremony and reception. I did not feel stressed out at all because I knew that Chris was handling everything for us and everything was under control. I fell in love with the venue the first time I visited it with my husband back in March 2019. Even though we only had less than 6 months to prepare for the wedding, I am grateful that all the wedding preparations went smoothly. Holdsworth House is a very beautiful hotel (17th century manor house!) and has excellent service! The food was superb. I actually had a hard time choosing the dishes for our 3-course menu during the food tasting because everything was really good! The wedding suite was also a delightful surprise to us - we had champagne, chocolates, flower petals (basically, the works!) and a lovely breakfast delivered to our room the next day. Thank you so much to everyone at Holdsworth House who made our wedding celebration unforgettable! Our family and friends were raving about it for weeks after!
