We couldn't have asked for more from Cripps barn. From the start their communication was clear and they did everything they could to accommodate all of our needs. Their timetable was clear, they had a fast response time and always made us feel luke we were the priority. The pre wedding planning meeting was smooth and detailed and on the day and the day after our front of house manager James couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, he was a big part of our day and we won't ever forget him. The food was delicious, the day both ran on time but also always felt totally in our control without anything being rushed. Any tweaks or changed we needed were done promptly and we were made to feel looked after even the next day at clear up, despite them having another wedding on that day. The space is gorgeous, the event staff were all very helpful. In terms of value for money it's a hard thing to wrap your head around as I imagine for many people like ourselves this is the most expensive day of your life, but it was a perfect day and we couldn't have asked for more from Cripps.
If you see the site and fall In love with it like we did, all I can say is that they will give you everything you need to make it the best day it can be.Cripps Barn - Cripps & Co's reply:

We had the best wedding at Cripps Barn. Everyone was so helpful and professional and vey quick to respond to any and all of our questions. The day itself was absolutely seamless and beautiful from start to finish. I didn't have to think of anything as it had all already been done. Spring wedding
We had a wonderful late March wedding at Cripps Barn. It's such a beautiful space with the overall combination of cotswold stone, fire, candles and foliage, even before our florist got to work.
The whole day ran super smoothly, and we could relax in the knowledge that the Cripps team were taking care of everything behind the scenes, allowing us to focus completely on the joy of the day! A special 'shout out' to Zoe and Emily who were our managers for the day and evening.
While the weather was typically mixed, the layout of the venue meant we could move in and out easily (including our less mobile guests) and there was always plenty of space for everyone. The separation of spaces was one of the reasons we chose the venue - we were never troubled by set up or turn around and never felt we were in the way.
Our guests are still raving about the food - you can't beat good ingredients cooked from fresh on site. We paid a little extra for the outside fire package - this was definitely worth doing as gave another space and experience for some of our more dance-floor-shy guests!
In the run-up to the big day, the team were super responsive to our questions (we were initially surprised not to have a lead or single point of contact, but soon came to understand that it really is a team effort, and for the most part they were good at keeping notes in a central place in order to keep track).
While the Cripps venues aren't cheap options, we felt the team and the overall package was well worth the money.Cripps Barn - Cripps & Co's reply:

Wensley Wedding
This venue is outstanding and would recommend this to any other couple wanting to get married.

Perfect venue
We had the most amazing day from start to finish at Cripps Barn! James and the team were so professional, helpful and lovely and made everything so easy for us and we couldn’t have asked for more. We looked at over 10 wedding venues before coming across Cripps & Co, and from the very first conversation we knew they were something special. When I initially called, I assumed it might be out of our price range, but they suggested completing a quick quote on their website based on what we were looking for. To our surprise, it actually seemed within reach, which encouraged us to explore further.
They very kindly offered us a heavily discounted room at one of their lovely pub hotels and organised for us to visit four of their local venues. We brought our dog along with us and were made to feel incredibly welcome everywhere we went. It very quickly became clear that this was a company we wanted to work with. Every member of staff we met across the venues was so friendly, helpful and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. A special shout out to Aimee, Zoe and Emily!
One thing we really appreciated was the transparency. There were no hidden extras for the small details that many other venues charge huge amounts for, things like fairy lights, which we’d seen elsewhere for £500 or more. Everything felt very fair and straightforward.
Another moment that really stood out was at the end of the wedding when we actually had money left over from the bar tab we had set up. Rather than quietly absorbing it, the team made sure we knew and refunded it, which really summed up the honesty and care of the staff and the venue.
We had an incredible experience from start to finish and couldn’t recommend Cripps & Co highly enough.
