The Barn at Berkeley is an exclusive barn wedding venue located in the heart of Gloucestershire, England. This traditional Cotswold stone barn has been beautifully restored into a rustic wedding space for you to host your special day. From magical walled gardens to open hearths, this venue offers a variety of spectacular features and areas, making it the perfect spot for your once-in-a-lifetime event.

Facilities and Capacities

The Barn at Berkeley is licensed for civil ceremonies, with two beautiful spaces available for you to exchange your vows so you can spend the entirety of your celebration in one stunning location. The Loft is their largest ceremony space which can accommodate up to 150 seated guests. The Garden is catered toward intimate ceremonies offering a picturesque setting ideal for taking beautiful wedding photos. This venue also provides ample spaces for you and your guests to relax after your wonderful ceremony. The Parlour is a cosy room suitable for your drinks reception, whatever the weather. This area is equipped with plush seating, a bar and easy access to the gardens. The Barn is a warm and inviting space furnished in traditional features and equipped with a dance floor. This room can seat 150 guests for an exquisite three-course dinner.

Services Offered

The Barn at Berkeley will provide an in-house wedding coordinator who will help you see all of the planning and details leading up to your special day. Their team of talented chefs can create mouthwatering meals from locally sourced produce and meat from their farm for you and your guests to enjoy. For your entertainment, the barn also offers exclusive hire of their Cattle Country's Indoor Slide Barn, where people of all ages can create happy memories on their indoor playground. This venue provides a variety of facilities, including live band amenities, a car park, accessibility facilities and more, to ensure that you have everything you need to create a remarkable event.

Top Notch!

We wanted to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to you and all staff at the Barn for making our wedding very special and smooth running. Service was impeccable, food was top notch and Kathryn your ‘master of ceremonies‘ skills did us proud! it was an amazing day and all our guests loved the venue.

We had the most amazing wedding at The Barn on the 6th October! Couldn't have asked for any more from the moment we booked the venue right through to the day, everything was perfect. Everyone had a great time and the added bonus of the play barn really made our special day unique. Thanks Matt and the team xx

We fell in love with the barn because it was abit different!!! It was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Thank you Matt and the team for providing us with such a great day and all our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and also the food. What i love about this place you can do what you like your not tied into anythinf they are so chilled and happy to accomodate whatever you want. Great place thanks so much would highly highly recommend x

The Barn at Berkeley is the perfect wedding venue. Throughout the planning process of our wedding, we had great communication with Matthew and his team. Nothing was too much trouble and they were extremely flexible , tailoring our package to meet our wishes, including food choices and dietary requirements.

All of our guests have commented on what an amazing day they had, particularly mentioning how delicious the food was, the organisation and efficiency of the staff, and the use of Cattle Country which was one of the many highlights of their day.

We would especially like to thank the staff that coordinated everything on the day, in particular Matthew and Catherine who ensured our wedding ran smoothly.

We would definitely highly recommend the Barn to anyone!

We just had our wedding here yesterday on a beautiful sunny day! If there was 10 stars we would give it. Can't thank Matthew, Catherine and the team enough for making everything run smoothly pre- wedding and on the day. Ceremony was in the gorgeous loft, and reception drinks in the garden. We also hired the Adventure park for our guests, which went down really well, highly recommend to unleash your inner chid! Everyone loved the food & venue.THANK YOU! Claudia & Nick

I cannot rate the barn highly enough! All of my guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the foo was and even said they would love to get married there themselves!

The addition of cattle country made our wedding day so much fun and all of our guests (even our grandparents!) loved throwing themselves down the slides and playing in the ball pit.

All of the guests also commented on how amazing the food was, especially the lamb!

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Matt and his team who made our day so perfect and memorable. From day one he made us feel comfortable and helped us to plan the wedding we wanted.

Beautiful food, fantastic atmosphere and perfect venue.

We got married at the barn at Berkeley on the 14th may 2016! It was such a beautiful and perfect venue, the staff were absolutely amazing, we loved every second! We had so many compliments on what a beautiful venue it was, and how amazing the food was! Having cattle country incorporated in our evening reception was so much fun not only for the children, the adults loved every second! We can't thank you guys enough for making our special day even more special! We were also lucky enough to have beautiful weather and got to enjoy your gorgeous garden!

perfect wedding venue

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at The Barn on september 10th this year, and we have nothing but great things to say about this amazing venue. Matthew, Jo and all the team at The Barn work so hard to make sure everything is run smoothly and perfectly. We cannot thank them enough for making our day so wonderful....and especially to matthew for slaving away with his colleague over the BBQ all afternoon....the food was just incredible. The Loft part of the Barn was a beautiful venue to get married in, and the beautiful garden was perfect for our "tea and cake" in the afternoon. Thankyou so much to all the team at the Barn, you made our day very special indeed. Amy and Dylan.
