From the initial sight I fell in love with south farm as a venue. After meeting with the staff it solidified that this was the venue for us.
Their attention to detail and care is amazing.
The communication from them was great and very clear and I always felt I knew what was happening!
On the day we had Helen who was so attentive ensuring we were okay all day and grabbing anything we needed.
She ensured that the day ran on time which I was very thankful for as I had no clue what time of day it was!
She took care of not only us but all the guests during our time there.
The food was amazing and we received many compliments about the staff and food from the venue.

South Farm were absolutely incredible. The venue is so stunning and such a fun place for guests with all of the animals about. The help in planning the big day was fantastic and ensured that nothing was missed, we would have forgotten so many details without the guidance from the South Farm staff. On the day of the wedding, the staff are so unbelievably professional and guide you through everything that's happening and make sure to give you as the couple moments alone to enjoy the day together.
And the biggest bonus of all, the new Apple Shed for the bridal party to get ready in. It is gorgeous and relieves any stress of having to travel the morning of the wedding. Getting ready in there was such a dream and made the morning so special.

From start to finish, South Farm were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the moment we visited during an open day, we knew it was the venue for us and booked there and then.

Every interaction leading up to the day - from the taster evenings to discussing all the finer details -  was handled with such professionalism, warmth and care. The team were always incredibly responsive, organised and genuinely lovely to deal with.

On the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly. The team were so accommodating and made the entire day feel effortless and completely magical. It truly was perfect, and we only wish we could do it all over again.

A truly amazing venue for the most perfect wedding!! We could not have been happier with our wedding day last week. Everything was perfect from all of the spaces and grounds to the food and service! We first visited south farm 4+ years ago when we first got engaged and have been in love with the venue ever since!! We would like to thank everyone at South Farm for being amazing, with a special thank you to Helen, our coordinator. Helen ensured that the day ran smoothly and everything was perfect for us and our guests! We were due to get married in the summer house but due to the rain were unable to, Helen was so helpful in explaining how to day would now run as we would be getting married in the old dairy and also came up with multiple options regarding the group photos and confetti walk depending on the weather after the ceremony. Over all we wouldn’t change a thing and will recommend south farm to everyone so that we can visit this amazing venue again!

From our first viewing at South Farm, we were just blown away by how beautiful it was, the whole place is maintained to a high standard, even the animals are all kept beautifully and make the whole place feel full of life while also giving that tranquil countryside feel. We were always welcomed with warmth and smiles from all the staff who are generally happy to see you. They clearly love the work that they do too which makes a huge impact on service and experience. We were never made to feel like any of our requests were not reasonable and the staff were so attentive, responded quickly to any questions we had and always went above and beyond to accommodate us.

We decided to stay the night of our tasting evening in the very comfortable onsite accommodation so that we could get more of a feel for being there. The food is 10/10 and the English breakfast in the morning was also fantastic, complemented by South Farm's very own fresh apple and orange juices. An eco-conscious venue and they use a lot of their own produce grown onsite, everything is so fresh and delicious.

Our wedding day, what a day! All the planning we had done together up to the morning of our wedding was executed perfectly on the day by Nikki, our event manager and the rest of the team at South Farm, there are no words to explain how special we felt. They were all so attentive to my husband and I, our bridal party, our family and our guests, throughout the duration of our day. The day flowed seamlessly and the SF team made it feel effortless. It was truly magical and we just felt overwhelmed with love. We were so relaxed as we knew it was all taken care of.

There was so much delicious food to choose from and flexibility on how you would like it served. One of the non-negotiables for us was delicious food and to say that SF delivered is an understatement! The portions were extremely generous, and all our guests commented on how fantastic the food was, even the suppliers that we provided meals for were blown away by the options they were served.

If you want the most magical day at a stunning modern eco-friendly farmhouse venue and are deciding whether to choose South Farm, my advice would be book it quick before you lose your preferred date! We are extremely grateful to Nikki and all the staff at South Farm; we could not have imagined a better day and will cherish the memories that were made here forever.

We knew South farm was fantastic but it's also been a pleasure to hear excellent feedback from our guests. The food and dinner service was brilliant with everyone enjoying their meals, South Farm also made exceptional efforts to accommodate guests with food allergies which was a lovely touch.

My husband and I recently got married at South Farm and we had the most amazing experience.

The venue is gorgeous and even on a drizzly day in January it looked stunning.

Prior to choosing South Farm we had looked at quite a few other venues but we just didn’t feel that instant connection - South Farm was different and as soon as we’d viewed it we knew it was the one!

Nikki, our event manager, was amazing on the lead up to the wedding and on the day and nothing felt rushed. Any questions we had were answered straight away, she was always there when we needed her and she made us feel at ease.

The food was incredible and all our of guests complimented it (we had the hot buffet).

We bought a lot of our own decor but the venue comes with lots of lovely plants, fairy lights and little touches which mean you don’t have to worry about getting a huge amount of decor.

Accommodation was great, very clean and comfy and the campers / wagon bathrooms were the best we had seen for campers!!

DJ Gary bought so much energy to the dance floor and played banger after banger.

We had a tasty full English the day after the wedding as well. It was my mums birthday and without us asking, they bought out a little brownie with a candle in which was lovely and shows how much thought goes into any decision.

We would highly recommend South Farm and we really hope we can return as wedding guests in the future!

South Farm were very professional, friendly and welcoming with us from the get go. We were treated warmly by the staff at all times, and they all knew what they were doing. We appreciated they always had good advice for us when planning the wedding, but never forced us to do things a certain way. They were very flexible when we talked about what we wanted for the wedding, and suggested what rooms we could use, and what could be done in between to make sure everything worked out well timing wise.

A special shout out goes to their kitchen staff who make some of the best food we have ever eaten. The hog roast buffet was incredible and there was lots of choice in what food we could have served. Every member of staff was very polite and went out of their way to make our lives easier, especially our event manager for the day, Evie, who was delightful to work with.

Only one thing to note when planning, they are not able to set up any decorations on the morning before our church service so we did have to find some friends to do it at short notice.

While planning with them, replies to emails always came fast, we never felt like we had to chase about anything. The accommodation was very nice and clean, and felt reasonably priced. In addition the clearing down was taken care of by night staff so we didn't have to do any of it. Everything was arranged out for us in the morning with flowers still on tables for breakfast! It was something very special.

South Farm gave us everything we could have wanted for our wedding day. We had shopped around to try and make the day of our dreams happen but were immediately impressed by South Farm's extremely transparent prices and packages. We went for a package that suited us and were amazed. The team are super communicative, always happy to help and answer questions and were really flexible, allowing us to DIY a lot of our wedding. Shame you only get to do it once, we would want another day at South Farm again in a heartbeat!

I first come across south farm online and fell in love with the venue . Myself & my husband booked a viewing and it was everything we had wished for and more!! The friendly staff and animals around the venue were the cherry on top of the cake. We decided to look at more venues as south farm was the first one we looked at and we kept coming away with south farm at the top. We booked a second viewing with family members and they all fell in love with the venue like us, we knew it was the one! We then attended the food tasting evening which we were both looking forward to as we are big foodies and wow what an excellent night, the food was amazing. We had lots of comments from guests after the wedding saying how fantastic the food was and it was the best wedding food they have had! The staff were fantastic and listened to everything we needed & wanted, I couldn’t fault a thing! I wish we could redo the day again from start to finish.

We got married at South Farm on the 14th of November 2025 and had the most perfect day.

I saw South Farm online in 2024 but we did not get a chance to visit until the beginning of April this year. From the moment my husband and I looked around, we fell in love and snapped up a date that same weekend.
The team at South Farm have been incredible throughout our journey. Evie showed us around and helped us plan our day. Emily kept in contact over email and made sure everything was on track and Helen was our on the day event manager. The entire team was super helpful in ensuring we had the perfect wedding day.
Our wedding day ended up having the worst weather and we needed to make lots of last moment changes as a result. South Farm had already written a wet-weather alternative, but I think the sheer amount of rain was a shock to everyone. Helen worked with me to make sure we could still do everything which was important to me, such as our confetti toss. The staff also made sure I was completely covered by umbrellas when moving from the coach house suite to the Tudor barn for our ceremony.

Our day turned out perfect and we were completely accommodated for. I have mobility issues and the staff made sure I was able to get everthing I needed and they worked with the registrars to ensure we could sit in the ceremony if I needed to. Additionally, Helen made sure to check in with us periodically to make sure we were happy and she was able to get us anything we needed or wanted.

The food for both the wedding breakfast and the evening reception was heavenly. We opted for a 2 course hot buffet and there was more than enough food for everyone. Many of our guests went up for seconds and we received many compliments on the food. I was desperate to have beef for one of our main options, which was not on the hot buffet menu, but the team sorted this for us for a small surcharge. I am so glad this was able to happen.

Finally, we had a large Connie and Colin the Caterpillar cake. I had made a veil and tophat for them but during transport from our house to the venue, they were misplaced. I was willing to go without them, but Helen, not wanting to disappoint, made sure we had a veil and top hat for our cakes. The staff sewed a napkin using chicken wire and they printed a top hat and added them to the cakes. They checked we were happy before we showed our guests and I honestly think they turned out better than my own. Helen and the staff went so above and beyond.

We are so happy with how our day turned out and are so glad we picked South Farm. Our family and friends adored it and all of our guests who stayed in accommodation loved their rooms. The full english (served by Claire) was just what everyone wanted in the morning. The staff also cleared up our decorations overnight, making packing in the morning super smooth!

South Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding day! Our autumn wedding was made so special with the ceremony in the Old Diary feeling magical and cosy with all of the beautiful beams and lights, and the Old Tudor Barn is just the perfect space for the rest of the celebrations, especially with the dancefloor space. All of our guests have shared how much they enjoyed the food, with it being something different the fusion feast went down so well! There is nothing we would change about the day, even though it rained (all day!), being at South Farm made no difference!
Last shout out to the amazing staff at South Farm, particularly Evie! They couldnt do enough for us and we felt so well looked after in the lead up and on the day - they do such a brilliant job to make the day feel so unique to each couple - thank you SF!

We had the best day ever at our wedding at South Farm in October 2025. South Farm was the only venue we visited and we instantly fell in love at our show round. The venue stunning and so well kept from the bedrooms and the indoor spaces to the beautiful grounds, and offered everything we were looking for for our big day. The team shared our priorities for a relaxed day with great food - the food was amazing at the menu tasting and on the day itself! South Farm is a well oiled machine and everything leading up to and on the day ran so smoothly from the room turnovers to meal service. Everyone was always so friendly, helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We had so many compliments on how fantastic South Farm was as a venue and honestly we wouldn't have changed a thing about the day! You will not regret booking South Farm!

We got married at South Farm in June and it was just the best day of our lives! South Farm was the perfect venue, and we knew that from our first visit.
Everything was brilliant, the venue is beautiful and the team are just amazing. South Farm have got weddings down to a fine art, from the quick turn around of rooms, food and drink choices, ceremony options, waiting staff, planning staff, gardening team, kitchen team - South Farm made it an absolute dream.

The weather was perfect - we had a few people asking where abouts in the South of France our wedding was, because the grounds were gorgeous! We loved every second and I really couldn't imagine our wedding anywhere else.
