Our wedding at Charlton Hall was sensational. The venue is spectacular and it is staffed by the most amazing team. We loved it's exclusivity and the grounds and rooms are absolutely stunning. The food was delicious and the service was brilliant, most definitely a 5 star experience all round!

My husband and I were so impressed with Jess Lilley, our wedding manager. Jess is incredibly supportive, kind and flawless at her job. She literally helped us save our wedding and we will be forever thankful to her. She excelled in her role to look after my husband and I in the run up to our wedding and she absolutely smashed it on the big day. She is a gorgeous person and a true credit to the team!

At short notice we had to change our plans and move our wedding to Charlton Hall, which for most would seem a challenge. However with Jess and the rest of the wonderful team at Charlton Hall it seemed to be seamless and effortless for them. Louise Notman, the reservations and events manager, was absolutely fantastic and helped us organise our guests accommodation. Louise was a dream to communicate with and she totally went out of her way to help us. Another star in the company!

On the day we felt looked after to an impeccable standard. Matt Leetham, the venue manager, was outstanding and guided us flawlessly through our day. All of our guests mentioned how they thought this of Matt too. It was also extremely impressive that he was back first thing the next morning for breakfast to look after the bridal party, a proper legend!

A special thanks to Roma Franks who is another wedding & events manager at Charlton Hall. We communicated with Roma a few times with our final details and she was wonderful and super helpful on all occasions. Then on our big day and the morning after she helped out too and was absolutely fantastic, a real gem!

Finally a huge thanks to Kevin Shanahan, the group general manager, who was awesome and helped turn our room around for our evening reception. The Looking Glass looked magical!

We would like to personally thank all of the team at Charlton Hall for their incredible efforts for our wedding, it was so special and honestly the best day of our life. Quoting many of our guests “your wedding will go down in history as one of the best weddings ever!”

What a day! The venue was stunning, the food is incredible and the staff are flawless!! Roma and Matt made our day run like clockwork and nothing was too much for them. I only wish I could do it all over again

Firstly we would like to just say a huge thank you to all the staff that helped make our wedding day truly amazing. We had the best day with everything running like clockwork. We would like to say an extra special thank you to Roman and Matt for all their hard work and support. Our day would not have been as spectacular without their help. We cannot recommend Charlton Hall enough, and cant wait to return in the near future. All our guests absolutely loved the venue, food and the relaxed atmosphere thorough our day.

We got married at Charlton Hall and it was perfect. Roma, Matt and the team went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly, and we could not have been happier with our experience.
We had so many comments from our guests about how quirky the venue & accommodation was, and about the amazing food that was served.
The whole day was so relaxed, and nothing was too much trouble. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married somewhere a little less traditional.

Charlton Hall were very helpful from the get go. Our wedding coordinator Roma Franks was amazing so helpful and made the day stress free for both of us. Roma quickly sorted any minor issue we had on the day so quickly and easily. This as the Bride made the night before and morning of the wedding so relaxed for me. I wanted things perfect, as any Bride does on their special day, and felt Roma took this very seriously and the rest of the team did also they were all so helpful and personable.

Staff were accommodating, listened to our every need. Venue was clean and tidy and perfectly fit us as a couple. Highly recommend if you’re planning your wedding and want somewhere a little different!

Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and cannot thank Charlton and all the staff there. The food was absolutely amazing and at such high value for money, we will definitely be back again! All our guests who stayed thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast included in the stay.

Service of bar/waitressing staff was absolutely superb and couldn’t be faulted. Everyone was so polite and helpful throughout the service!

We had the most amazing wedding day at Charlton hall! Everything from the unreal venue, the communication months before, to the menu tasting was great. Jess was absolutely amazing, answering every little query I had before. She made us feel so at ease on the day with everything in hand, thankyou to Katherine as well. We had so many compliments from the guests about the querky venue/accommodation, the delicious food and how smoothly everything ran. Matt was a huge part of this making sure everything was spot on, he felt like a friend we had known for years! 100% would recommend Charlton hall! Thank you so much. We will be back to visit!

We had our beautiful wedding day at Charlton Hall on 29th August and it was simply amazing. Everything went to plan and it was all so smooth thanks to Roma, Matt and Derek. What a team! Roma was so helpful the night before popping over to see me and the girls at the Stable Cottage and putting me at ease on the morning with the timings of everything. Matt was a star making sure my hubby and I got time to ourselves and to reflect on the days events and he made sure we were never without a drink, and Derek even helped me to keep my balance whilst removing stones from my wedding shoes! The venue is so eclectic and so many guests commented on how beautiful and inviting it was. It really is a showstopper and we’ve made so many wonderful memories. We just wanted to say thank you so so much to all of the team at Charlton Hall for making our day on the 23/07/22 absolutely magical! It was everything we could have dreamed of and more! It truly was the best day of our lives and all of our guests had the most amazing time.
From booking Roma was amazing and on the day everything went absolutely perfect, everyone was beyond incredible but I really want to say a special thankyou to Roma and Matt who absolutely smashed it. We felt so comfortable and relaxed on the day and every aspect went perfectly. I would give anything to do it all again! Also the food and drinks were absolutely out of this world!
I honestly couldn't recommend Charlton Hall enough for a wedding and we will 100% be booking to stay over on anniversaries!

Overall I thought the whole experience was out of this world, the team couldn’t do enough for us! Didn’t feel pressured at all. From the first day visiting Charlton Hall to the morning after our wedding was absolutely fantastic!!!! From originally booking our first date back in 2019 to eventually tying the knot in 2022 there was not one issue. Even through the pandemic we were in contact and kept in the loop with everything.
On our wedding day there was not a thing too much for Jess, our organiser and Matt, they were both more than happy to be there for us and help with everything.
The day went without a problem and we can definitely say that this is down to their professionalism and clear love for the job!
Food, venue, accommodation and drinks were perfect. All staff were so accommodating and more than happy to help with a smile! Our guests have all commented on what a special day it was. Can’t wait to visit again!

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Charlton Hall. They have been excellent from start to finish.
We have first visited the venue when a lockdown eased back 2020. We were free to look around the hall at our own pace. Later on staff followed up over email. We have booked the venue within couple of days.
I have then fallen pregnant and asked whether it would be possible to move our event, once again the staff supported our request and offered few dates. The process was painless unlike the horror stories I have heard from other people when trying to re-schedule their wedding.
Each member of staff we spoke to was always polite, professional and friendly. They always asked about our newborn daughter too, such a lovely personal touch.
On the day of the wedding Matt and Roma made the day so special, no stress or pressure. Truly wonderful.
They were so lovely to all of our guests who made comments about how amazing all the staff was.
I cannot wait to visit Charlton Hall again.
