The Mansion & Gardens at Port Lympne is a unique and popular wedding venue situated on the Kent coast. The elegant 1920’s mansion is steeped in history and enjoys glorious panoramic views across extensive terraced lawns and landscaped gardens to the English Channel. To make it even more distinctive this exceptional mansion is nestled in the heart of the world renowned Port Lympne Wild Animal Park.
The park cares for almost 80 species of the world’s rarest animals including lions, tigers and rhino. In an exciting addition to the wedding packages – VIP safaris can now be arranged for guests, transporting them to the plains of Africa to view elegant giraffe, zebra, rhino and ostrich roaming free over 100 acres known as The African Experience.
The lavishly decorated and distinctive mansion rooms are available for wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and guest receptions and can cater from 10 to 180 guests - In the summer months ceremonies can be held on the terrace outside overlooking the well stocked gardens with far reaching views to the Romney Marsh and the coast beyond.
For larger parties the newly refurbished Aspinall Suite provides the perfect setting for an evening reception and has plenty of space for a large dance floor.
Head of Events Sam Lloyd explains: ‘The Aspinall Suite is a magnificent conservatory which has recently undergone complete refurbishment. The neutral decor, chandeliers and beautiful draping make for an elegant backdrop and can easily be tailored to match the theme of the day.’
