Fantastic
We got married in Plas Hafod in December 2011. We had a fantastic day – it was perfect. The food was amazing – we had lots of positive comments from our guests – don’t be put off by the price (we nearly were) the food is really good . The service was faultless, they looked after both of us and our parents, they kept us informed of what was happening and allowed us to be involved in decisions (i.e. check the room, tables, cakes, buffet before the guests saw it). They were very accommodating – we made several changes to the ‘package’ and this was no problem for them. The room and breakfast were lovely. We had a great day and would HIGHLY recommend this venue for any type of wedding (big or small, ours was just 35 in day and 70 at night). Fantastic price.

A very special and personal wedding venue
From the moment we laid eyes on the Plas Hafod, we knew this had to be the place we held our wedding reception. It was unique! Because the hotel is not part of a chain it gives them scope for flexibility, and you soon realise that when the staff say they will try their hardest to make your day into exactly what you want they really mean it! The food was wonderful, the staff felt like friends and each of the bedrooms had it''s own unique personality. The stunning gardens with beautiful views made the most wonderful setting for our photos. I would recommend the Plas Hafod to anyone looking for a very special wedding venue.

Perfect - Highly Recommended
When I saw this I just felt I had to write a reveiw as i can't beleive no one else has - even though we got married 5 years ago & had our reception here people still talk about what an amazing day it was - it was just perfect - the setting is beautiful & the staff were so friendly & helpful nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious & they were very flexible & did just what we wanted & the rooms in the hotel are really lovely. It was a perfect day & went so smoothly mainly down to the staff at the Plas Hafod organising everything so well & making everything so easy - it was a really perfect place, we looked at other places but as soon as we visited & everyone was so helpful you know they are just going to make your day so easy & fun. Many Thanks still to the Plas Hafod & Highly recommended to everyone.
