An Amazing Wedding
I cannot thank Amy Butler enough for making our dream day become a reality. She couldn't of been more helpful, more efficient and was always available to come up with suggestions and guidance. I wanted lots of personal touches and had specific ideas to create a unique day which would reflect on 'us'. Amy would say 'we can have and do anything you wish' and she was true to her word to the very end. Amy was with me for the entire journey from the planning, meetings and preparations to the actual day where her smiley face came up to check on the bride and her party. She took control being a brilliant 'master of ceremonies' for the day, managing her team perfectly through breakfast till the end at midnight. We just can't thank her enough for all her hard work and genuine kindness... she brought customer service to a new level...brilliant!! The ceremony went like a dream; then the pimms and canapes were perfect outside in the sun on their beautiful grounds; then our wedding breakfast which we chose the menu for. All our guests have commented on how amazing the food was, large portions of the highest standard of delicious food, how the team offered them more helpings, they couldn’t of been more attentive to each individual guest. FABULOUS!! The breakfast went like clockwork, the timings were perfect so there were no lulls waiting for our next course or plates to be cleared... amazing really. The food is always a talking point for guests and can probably make or break their experience of their day... and for ours it was a huge hit!! We know the standards of food at the Penventon are high but to achieve this for such a large number of guests was an achievement!

Wedding and Reception
We held our wedding and reception at The Penventon. Ian Croucher, the Events Manager, could not have been more helpful. He was with us through all the planning, and there with us all through our wedding day as Master of Ceremonies. The hotel is a great venue for a wedding.The hotel provides everything you need for your special day, flowers for the tables, a gorgeous archway, red carpet, a lovely antique table and chairs for signing the register. We had an old fashioned buffet and wine for our reception and the food was wonderful as was the wine. This was all fantastic, but it was the little touches that we noticed such as Ian coming to our room to get our room decorations, table favours etc and sorting them all out, calming my nerves just before the ceremony; all the things you worry about as a bride! An ideal wedding venue with great decor and furniture; creating great photo opportunities and also lovely outside grounds which are great for weddings. Highly recommended!

“I have a large family and bills to pay so when I became engaged, my dream wedding seemed unrealistic. When I heard about Penventon I couldn’t resist but to arrange a meeting and imagine what could be. Not only did I get married at the Penventon I had the dream wedding I had always wished for. I know they say you can’t put a price on love, but with Penventon you don’t have to!”

Our amazing wedding May 2012
My husband and I had our reception at the Penventon Park Hotel, and I can honestly say that I would not have changed a thing. Everything went so well. The food was amazing, the room was set up just as we wanted. Amy the wedding coordinator could not have done more, all the staff fantastic, all I can say is please look at this venue because they really did make our day special.

Highly recommend!
My husband and I were married there 12th June 2010 and the whole experience was everything we dreamed of. Ian and the team at the Penventon made it so special and handled everything for us. The food is amazing and service was excellent. They even put on the 1st England match in the piano room for us. We would highly recommend getting married there as the setting is beautiful and the staff went out of their way to help. If you would like your wedding to be a hassle free day the Penventon is the place!!!

Surroundings, food & service excellent!
We were delighted with the arrangments made. We found the surroundings, food and service were excellent! The day went off without a single hitch due to the efforts of Ian and his staff.

Fabulous
Our daughter got married last summer. The staff were superb nothing was too much trouble - Ian was so experienced and helped us with decisions on the run up to the wedding and made the whole day the most enjoyable experience - We couldn''t think of ANYTHING that could have been improved upon. We just relaxed and had a fabulous day. Everyone who went said what gorgeous food and venue was decorated so well. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

special day, beautiful room!
Penventon were fabulous for our wedding day and our day was so special, the bedroom was heavenly, we didn''t want to check out! The months leading up to the wedding were made so much easier having someone to talk through our requirements for the day. We would have no hesitation in recomending Penventon to anyone

a smooth running beautiful day
The service provided from the hotel staff was excellent!, not only on the day but on the months leading up to the wedding. Everyone who attended commented on how good the food, service and helpfulness og the hotel staff was as well as how wonderful it all was!
