Amazing Venue. Highly Professional
It's the day after our wedding and we have to write what an utterly fantastic time we had. Mainly down to the professionalism of the staff and in particular Stewart who was outstanding. We have visited frequently over the months to watch the changes to this hotel unfold. At times there was trepidation but we need not have worried, this place just keeps getting better! The staff have been absolutely wonderful and have made us feel so welcome. I cannot speak highly enough about them all. The food was fantastic (compliments to the chef, who sat down with us personally to help us chose the menu a few months prior) and everyone commented on the quality and amount of food provided. For our photos we were taken out of a golf buggy to view the most amazing scenery. All-in-all an incredibly professional and well organised day from start to finish. I just want to say thank you to a few people in particular; Diane - for looking after me both mornings, the big hugs and being as cool as a cucumber. Donna - for everything leading up to the day. Nothing was too much trouble and she had so many great ideas. James - for the wine tasting and the chatter. Ashley - for running such a great venue and taking the time to talk to us every time we visited! And finally - last but not least - Stewart who was absolutely brilliant. I've never been so well looked after in my life - I felt like a princess and he was an absolute superstar. We cannot thank him enough for ensuring everything went so smoothly. We had a fabulous day and we are now sad now not to be going back!

Hi Old Thorns Wedding Team, Just wanted to say Thank You So much for everything you did to make our Wedding reception an absolute dream. Donna, Thank you for working with us to plan for our big day, there was a lot of elements going into the reception and you were very calm and confident and made it really easy and went through things step by step with us so we knew what was needed and what would be happening! Stuart, you made things on the day PERFECT!!! I cannot believe you managed all my specific table decorations down to the last table diamond they were spot on! Thank you for toast mastering our reception and helping out with any little things we needed, you just took care of everything and we didnt need to think about or worry about stuff, which is exactly what we needed! Oh and the golf buggies is an absolute genius idea, we had such a laugh!! Please Thank the chef Dave from us, the food was exquisite and everyone has commented on the wine being great too! Please also thank Darren the DJ for playing pretty much all of our requests, the dance floor was packed all night, apart from when everyone stopped to eat the yummy bacon butties!!! The whole day was more than what we had hoped for and it was truly wonderful. So Thank you for everything and making our wedding day memorable for all the right reasons! We are off on honeymoon tomorrow then Australia for at least a year but will definitely be back on Anniversaries etc! Take care all of you, you all did a great job! Kate and Stuart
