The Georgian Townhouse is just a beautiful venue with charming character in the centre of Norwich which makes it perfect for all guests to stay while still feeling quaint and intimate! 💒 As soon as we visited for the first time, we knew it was the venue for us. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly and no question was too silly for them. You really got the impression that they genuinely care about making your day as special as possible and this was evident in all the follow up meetings we had too. The venue is really flexible in terms of how you want to decorate it and they really let you make it your own. The food is also delicious with varying options to cater for everyone's needs and wishes and they really help to make sure the day runs smoothly from the vows to the last song being played. Thank you for making our wedding a day we will never forget! 💒

We viewed Elms Barn on a rainy November day and instantly fell in love with it! The barn itself is stunning, the gardens are beautiful and it feels inviting. Ruth showed us around on 2 occasions and helped us create the perfect wedding day by answering our questions and helping us work out what we wanted, especially as we didn't have a definite theme in mind. Ruth is very organised, friendly and there throughout the planning journey. The food was delicious and the venue was very good with allergies/dietary requirements. Catering and flowers are both done by Elms Barn, which was easy, and the flowers were stunning. Wedding bookings are a 3 day hire, meaning the day before and day after were relaxed and didn't feel rushed, and staying onsite in the accomodation was lovely :) we highly recommend Elms Barn and had the best DAY ever! Xxx

From the moment we walked into Godwick Hall & Great Barn for our very first viewing, we knew there was something special about it. We were greeted by the owner, James, who instantly made us feel so welcome with his friendly and relaxed approach. The barn was already set up for a wedding later that day, and I completely fell in love with its rustic charm. Outside, the beautiful ruins made the whole venue feel even more magical. We left that day so excited, already imagining what our own wedding could look like, and we both knew straight away that we had found our venue. After booking, I took every opportunity I could to go back , whether it was for meetings or open days, I just loved being there. During the planning process we were paired with Hannah, who was always professional, proactive, and there whenever we needed her. Even though I had a lot organised myself, it was reassuring knowing she was always there to answer any questions. Closer to the wedding, we were handed over to our event manager, Debbie-Lee, and she was absolutely incredible. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we genuinely loved having her there on the day. She went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Honestly, every single member of staff was amazing. Jenni is so friendly and funny, James is humble and welcoming, Hannah is organised and supportive, and Debbie-Lee is kind, caring, and has such a calming presence about her. The accommodation included in our package was the icing on the cake. We didn’t just get a wedding day, we got an entire wedding weekend, which made everything feel even more special. Being able to spend that whole weekend with our loved ones is something we’ll treasure forever. I still remember standing in the kitchen the morning after the wedding, everyone making breakfast together, and just feeling completely overwhelmed with love and happiness. The swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub were an added bonus and were definitely enjoyed by everyone! In short, although maybe not so short after all! I cannot recommend Godwick enough for your wedding. It truly gave us the most incredible experience, and we wouldn’t change a single thing.

The venue staff were wonderful and everything went smoothly, we had a perfect wedding day. We had visited several venues prior to Roundwood, but this was where we were comfortable, the venue we felt good about looking after us and how we wanted our day to go. No pushy-hard selling at all, everything was catered to our wishes, all stages of the day were planned carefully and our options were explained at every turn. They responded to emails and messages promptly, with clear, honest and helpful answers and suggestions in all our planning phases. We opted to decorate the day before so we could focus on enjoying the wedding day itself. We also stayed in the house with our wedding bridal and grooms party from Friday to Sunday night, so we did not have to rush around afterwards. I recommend this as the house is stunning and extremely comfortable and we had the luxury of relaxing all Sunday! There's a large window area in the living room downstairs that was perfect for the make up artist to attend to my bridal party and I, with plenty of room for us to roam around and have a fun morning getting ready - with the lads having all of the upstairs rooms to get ready in, too! All our guests have expressed how lovely the venue is and how amazing our wedding day was. I highly recommend Roundwood. The view from the house for our group wedding photos was incredible, overlooking the valley. And the private photos of myself and my husband in the trees on the grounds came out beautifully. Our photographer was so excited when the sun shone over the treetops, and those are our favourite photos! We're very lucky and grateful for spending our wedding day at such a beautiful place.

From the moment we arrived at Hunters Hall we knew it was the venue for us. It has everything we were looking for – on site accommodation, a choice of beautiful room for different parts of our wedding day, outside space and above all a team of staff that genuinely care about your day. Matthew was there from our first visit to our wedding day and we could not have asked for anyone better to be with us throughout our wedding journey. He was enthusiastic from minute one and combined his experience with clear love of people to help us create our perfect day. We will genuinely miss our meetings with him! Nothing is too much trouble at Hunters Hall, even the addition of our large Norfolk flag was accommodated! Every person involved in the planning and on the day was kind and helpful with particular thanks to Lou, Shirley, Georgia, Jenny, the fantastic head chef and all the other people that worked hard for our event. We were guided through the planning process with helpful information, a selection of recommended suppliers (all of whom were fantastic) and the perfect number of meetings. The day before the wedding we arrived to everything already set up allowing us to add a few extra details and enjoy being in the beautiful venue before everything started. The bridal party stayed at the venue the night before and we had support from Shirley pretty much from the moment we woke up! The pamper lounge is fantastic, it allowed us to get ready in one place, with great lighting and space. Every guest was looked after by the venue staff; we had a few dietary requirements catered for without issue and feedback from many guests highlighted how friendly staff had been. We can’t fault the organisation, we were able to enjoy planning our day and then hand the reins over to Matthew, Jenny and the team – neither of us looked at the time the whole day! The food was incredible (huge compliments from guests), out ‘confetti moment’ crafted by Matthew was spectacular and we even managed a short notice change in plans to enjoy drinks outside in unseasonably warm weather! Even down to the carefully arranged decorations for us to take home, every stage of our wedding journey has been relaxed but exciting and that is down to the people who work at Hunters Hall. We didn’t just choose a beautiful barn, we chose a team and the team here are the people you want with you in your ‘wedding era’! We wish we could do it all over again!

We booked our wedding in December 2022 and got married in July 2024. Everything ran so smoothly—nothing was too much trouble, and we had complete freedom to shape the day exactly how we wanted it. Donatas was brilliant from start to finish. He was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding planner: attentive, supportive, and incredibly helpful both in the lead-up and on the day itself. We truly had the best day ever and would love to do it all over again! We found it to be excellent value for money, especially as it included accommodation for our guests. We wanted a private, intimate wedding by the coast, and Cley Windmill gave us that and more—it has real “WOW” factor. I loved seeing our guests' reactions to the venue/Windmill, and people are always surprised when I tell them we got married in a windmill as it not your typical wedding venue! It’s a day we will cherish forever, and we couldn’t recommend Donatas and Cley Windmill more highly as a wedding venue. Thank you for making our day and experience so incredibly special from start to finish.

We are so glad we chose Pentney Abbey for our November wedding. It is a beautiful venue, with so much character which is exactly what we wanted. Meg was our wedding planner - she was amazing at helping us plan the details leading up to our wedding day. Meg always responded to us super quickly, answering any questions we had! On our wedding day, Meg was great at ensuring everything went smoothly and the day was stress-free. Our guests all commented on how beautiful the venue was, and how tasty the food was! Thank you to Meg and the Pentney/UNV team for making our wedding day so magical.

We recently held our post-wedding celebration party at the Dukes Head Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I mainly communicated with Sharon, the venue coordinator, who did an excellent job responding to my enquiries and confirming all the details. She was professional, friendly and always quick to help, her communication and people skills are fantastic. Our celebration was for around 40 guests, and the ballroom offered the perfect space. The venue allows for lovely custom decorations, such as fairy lights and additional lighting, which helped create the exact atmosphere we wanted. The location is easy to find, with plenty of nearby parking, and the surrounding area is beautiful. We had a custom-made buffet menu, while it wasn’t the best food I’ve ever had personally, all of our guests were very happy with it, and the staff ensured the buffet was refilled promptly. Everyone commented on how friendly, approachable and helpful the team was throughout the evening. We also stayed in the Elizabeth Suite, which was beautiful and comfortable. Both adults and children had an amazing time, and the evening came together perfectly thanks to the combined efforts of the venue team, our decorators, the DJ and our local cake baker. A special thank you to Sharon at the Dukes Head Hotel for her excellent communication and professional approach. xx
